Dropshipping is especially good if you have access to good winning products all the time. Last 20 days I earned something like 5-6k, and as you know that's pretty good for some passive income. I just had to copy paste all the info I got about these products, and maybe find some extra description if needed.

This is probably the best and honest video about dropshipping I have ever seen. Thank you very much. Most other videos just see, hey I just want to try it, search a product for 5 minutes and scale the store in 5 days to $20K... I bet most viewers incl. myself tried it more or less a few times without glory success, but this video shows that you can probably make money out of the process. Keep on posting videos like this as real life projects and not these fancy gurus.

At about 7:45 you start talking about how you were surprised that people are not putting as much info as you on their websites. And then you go to say that you assume people would like to see as much information as possible… In Sales, they say “over selling“ is a sure way not to make a sale.

I'm into my 3rd week of dropshipping still doing ad creative testing. This episode you made is really encouraging. Hope to turn a profit and see the light at the end of the tunnel soon Update: I was making a loss most of the time but started to see profit in my 6th week. However, I ended that business (it was women's products) and am starting a new DS company doing consumables due to the high customer life time value.

A huge part to this I think you’re missing is the conversion rate. I noticed your conversion rate was sitting under 1%, which isn’t good at all. You should be aiming for about 3-4%, yet you’re worried about running good ads. Good luck with this tip
@August918
@August918 Жыл бұрын
Exactly, besides for having good sales is not only the product and paying ads. It is 1/3 product, 1/3 marketing strategy, 1/3 creatives. You should play with cold, warm and hot audiences. Also with different interests and similar audiences. Ive noticed that with a good ad structure you can sell anything with a roas not less that ×4. Now it will only depends the cost of operation to see if its profitable. I have a brand in México which I need a roas of ×5 to start being profitable, I usually have 6-8 BUT fortunetly my product is of hich consumption so half of my new clients will rebuy me in a 2-4 month basis with minumum ad spend from my part. A friend sells products that people would buy like 1 time a year (and probably would buy it to the competence lol) however his roas are like ×9 or more and he only spends on ads and his partner in the product
@theodosios2615
@theodosios2615 Жыл бұрын
What can also kill you is getting a ton of visitors, but no sales.... which suggests the problem is your site and not the ads. But you could totally be driving the wrong kind of traffic! Ads need to very targeted. People may think they're clicking on an ad directing them to a free blog post. Then they get to your site, find out it's a store, get irritated and leave.
@August918
@August918 Жыл бұрын
@@theodosios2615 You’re so right. Also, after the site starts getting some sales, you can target similar audiences to buyers and remarketing for the ones that have checked thewebsite, that can potentially increase your roas a lot

Enough failures will eventually turn into success. Failure is the mother of success, after all. Also, the end results show us just how the method to making money for selling a product isn't the product itself, it's the stupidity and simplicity of others. Their laziness puts them off when there's too much, their simplicity puts them off when theres too much information, and their stupidity makes them unable to handle large quantities of information. No matter how simple or necessary said info is.

@@alexulbin Too much going on. You can test an audience, sure. But you should be stacking interests into a big ad set that's super broad. I typically use broad targeting and consolidate the ad account down ensuring each campaign gets the proper budget. Use this budget formula to calculate the minimum daily budget per ad set ($50 x CPA) / 7 = Daily Budget per ad set. You'll get much better learnings through you campaigns and have a more stable CPA.

Hey man thanks for the transparency. I plan on starting a dropshipping store I’ve filled my brain with as much info as possible over this last month before starting. I have a few questions tho, should I be worried about getting an LLC when I start my dropshipping store or should that not be a concern until I find a profitable product? Also is it better for a beginner to start with a general store, so I don’t have to keep spending my funds on new domain names for one product or hybrid stores?

The problem with dropshipping is that anyone else can buy that same product > so you are not bringing value. The other part I guess is that its a perfect hook for “how to get rich quick” suckers. Why? Because it sells a concept of getting money fast with limited effort> which rarely exists. Most of these videos seem to have one goal in common: for you to watch. How can we know? Because whenever they talk numbers they never discuss VAT and taxes, seem like an unknown concept. And if it is, means they dont even have companies…..
