I would encourage you to send anything liquid in box using USPS Ground Advantage and definitely use a box. I’m pretty sure that the post office is pretty specific about only using their mailers for items that are being sent in that method. Using copious amounts of bubble wrap is commendable. I have been selling on eBay since 2000. One of my first sales was porcelain espresso cups and saucers, and I learned the hard way about using the right packing materials.🤦🏼‍♀️ Best wishes on your eBay endeavors.

Boxes: I order all the free boxes and packaging for Priority Mail available from the post office website. Also, I save every box from anything. I order online and recycle and reuse it, as long as it’s clean and in great shape. [important: cover any old barcodes] I also work part time in the hospitality industry, and my coworkers are so thoughtful and kind they share all of their bubble wrap and sometimes good boxes from their personal purchases as well as what comes in at work. After having a starter store for many years I upgraded to a basic store last year. eBay gives four $25 coupons per year toward their branded shipping supplies. I like their small envelopes as well as the colorful tissue paper they offer. I do follow many seasoned resellers and many list their shipping supply sources - usually shared from the link on top of their instagram page. Following resellers on KZbin has been so helpful and learning what to purchase to sell. Customer paid 35usd on ebay and got only 25usd as payout which is about -28% on charges. It is very little profit left unless you get your items dirt cheap..

Sellers beware. • It is illegal to use the free USPS mailers for anything but its intended purpose. For example a priority mail envelope is only meant for the exterior packaging with priority mail shipping label. • Also, anything liquid should not go priority.

Retail arbitrage is becoming a dead method on Amazon. I switched to eBay a while ago and prefer it.

Arbitrage is becoming HARD on Amazon. So many fees and restrictions and ip violations! I’m thankful to have eBay to switch to for arbitrage, and then build a brand on Amazon.

Ebay is the wild west. *Frikin awesome, though.* Keep your seller performance up or they'll punish you by temporarily making your listings _ineligible for promotion._ Not that I would know that, personally... :)
