My best advice for you is to bind your edit button on xbox, to the right joystick press, then bind the left joystick press to reset. Also, remember to make the edit hold to 0.00.1 and then put the setting "confirm edit on release" on. After that try get used to it, and you'll see a cool difference. I've tried to do this on PS4 and it works too.

Try turning on advanced settings and switch to linear and then put your build sensitivity boost to 2.0 and your edit boost to 1.5. Then put your sensitivity to 49 horizontal and vertical but no horizontal or vertical boost

my advice is, i personally use Y for edit on controller, personally I would not use claw, but thats up to you. use a fast sensitivity, joystick can be quite difficult so having a fast sens can help you have better fight against keyboard and mouse player because they have the advantage of a mouse. then again you're alot better than me on controller so, do whatever fits you :)
