Genting only recently changed to an A.Y.C.E. buffet...their special for Lunar New Year buffet has lots of seafood, dim sum and other authentic Chinese New Year dishes...Lunar New Year of the Snake starts this week (1-29) a few days before my 🎂 (2-1) 😂😂😂...have a great weekend ❤😊

This Resorts buffet and it's selections, is too small and it looks like Mr. Shin had everythin' that it had to offer! As for me.. the Wynn has an Outstanding limited-time Dim Sum -Buffet for Chinese New Year, which is separate from their daily buffet which is definitely #1 for my taste!🙂

A lot of the food looks pretty good. I would go for the duck and the seafood except the oysters (not a fan of oysters). For the price they offer, I would pay the few extra dollars and go to the Wynn buffet for more food options.

For the price, the buffet lacks variety and premium proteins. BTW, those scallops come frozen and just thawed for service. Oysters are suspect as well. You can order frozen, shucked oysters from your vendors such as Sysco.

What made me sad was watching some other youtubers who tried this place the scallops and oysters looked a lot better than the ones I had. Timing matters a lot for buffets and the timing of my trip was rough when it came to the oysters especially. Thanks for watching!

Wing Lei Dim Sum Brunch sadly is $128.88 now. It does not include Alcohol but the dim sum is still superior. If you fancy, lobster and dessert in addition to your crab legs, I would say try to get a reservation there (via host only right now). However, based on this video, the Peking duck here looks like great value.

I have yet to try the Wing Lei buffet but I do love the food there in general. I think you can definitely get your money's worth at Genting Palace with their buffet. A few rounds of duck and crab legs and you've made your money back for the most part. Thanks for watching!

I’ve heard nothing but good things about this place. I prefer my seafood hot although, but split crab makes it so much easier I may be convinced to eat crab chilled. Perhaps the oysters needed more attention unfortunately. Thank you Shin for another Awesome review ❤

That's the question right? Peking duck is really expensive so just a couple servings of that will make up a lot of the cost. The crab legs, prawns, and the pork make up the rest so I think it's easy to get your money's worth. But it comes down to do you want to eat a ton of premium items or a big variety of dishes? trust your taste buds...but yes those oysters look like they have been pre-shucked too long and sat in the walk-in. Those oysters need to be shucked much closer to service.

Those oysters were sus from this side of the screen. The majority of that buffet was pretty pedestrian. Oh how the mighty have fallen, once billed as the best Chinese restaurant in the states with prices to match, its pretty obvious that concept failed. They had an extremely rough opening and the only great things I heard after that were from Genting inc itself. Q- Shin did you ever see the raw chicken served to Derek and Katherine opening week (aycv)? it was a shame and the way it was handled was worse. I do dream about that abalone menu, is that still in place?

Definitely caters to a specific clientele, mainland Chinese folks. They'll stuff themselves on the crab legs and duck to get their money's worth and nibble on the rest. Hi Shin. Always enjoy your buffet videos. I have to say this place looked mediocre especially for 68 dollars+. Limited selection, food not looking fresh (your comment about the questionable oyster for example) and really small portions in the buffet serving dishes which look stingy. You also did videos on Buffet @ Asia and Krazy Buffet - those places looked much better (more selection, food looked hotter and fresher and replenished more often, full buffet serving dishes etc) at a fraction of the price.
