Well, while punk has taken off in the late 70s, it _is_ more associated with the subsequent decade.

Dean Williams punk turned more glam in the 80s whereas punk began in the late 60s and continued through the 70s punk was used to describe garage bands and their styles :)

I lived in the seventies and that suit was hideous. And David Bowie was my first concert ever and he always had more tasteful makeup than that. See cover of Pin ups.

1.the wigs all suck 2. roles skating was a pass time not a fashion statement 3. there always appears to be one piece of clothing too many like that shawl or the jacket with the pants suit. 4. that glam rock thing is weird. 70s fashion was pretty relaxed. I was between the ages of 14 and 24 at the time.

Roller skates *were* a fashion statement for middle schoolers in 1978-1979. There were sneakers that had pop-out wheels. You’d have had to be in middle school at the time.

I never wore platforms and that polyester double-knit suit was awful. But bell-bottom jeans, bohemian style peasant blouses with gathered tiered skirts, and disco wear were all fun to wear. Stevie Nicks, Carly Simon and David Bowie...they were great.

Please take notice of her disclaimers and disclosures before everybody criticizes. Atlease she clarifies whatever she can or can't do. In short, atlease she's being true to herself than saying and pretending that she knows everything.

The "bohemian" look was terrible. Even in that era no one would wear that many items all at once. All it does is swallow up your body with fabric.

Absolutely LOVE the stylist's hair and look! And all those looks were so iconic, but the last one was a bit over the top. And _Debbie Harry_ wore the jumpsuit. Blondie is the name of the entire group, LOL.

Why is she so confused that shoes were made out of wood? What else are shoes made of these days? ???? Like, a stiletto will be made of metal.... Almost any other heel, even very short ones, are made of wood. ??????

I actually like the bohemian look, there’s a lot of layers but I think it works (maybe not practically tho). Kinda reminds me of cottagecore :)

So far, the 50s is the best vid she did. This one was emotionless and the most fake. The 80s looked fun with more naturality to the hair and emotion into the makeup and authenticity in the outfits. This one looked like a guide to Halloween 2019

Sorry to add another pedantic comment about Debby Harry, but yeah-Blondie is the band and Debbie Harry is the singer. Her being blond seemed to confuse people, but she was adamant about the difference and still is today. But the clothes were fun. I grew up in the 1970s, and the look I remember most was that Cybil Shepard curly wave-which most women achieved with a perm, foam rollers worn overnight, and these crazy curling irons that had a steam feature (like a clothes iron) that could really fry your hair. The jumpsuit was fun, but I remember a lot of chiffon being the go-to option for dancing; I think that’s what the girls all wear in Saturday Night Fever, with rabbit fur coats and platform sandals.

The bohemian look is the best and the makeup!! The clogs have to go!! I was a teenager in the 70’s and you’d fit in perfectly!! Oh, get those jeans!!! All of it (except the glam-no!) took me back to my teenage years!! Good on ya!!!
