From what I've found, the sky's the limit for AP, since she double dips into AP (for her own shock/disorder dmg + her Polarity disorder dmg), even at around 500 AP, your 1 AP roll is equivalent to ~2.5+ ATK%/PEN rolls, so I would definitely heavily prioritize AP.

I heard a lot of ppl say "You can't play Yanagi without Burnice". Bruh if that's the case people who fail to get or skipped Burnice will just keep skip/wait for rerun, miHoYo will loose a lot of money. Kinda riddiculous for them to let that happen

That sentiment is pretty false from what I've seen from different sources. She has a lot of different teams that work well for her. she doesn't require Burnice at all. Seems like she can do mono electric, disorder with phys anomaly character, as well as the burnice team.

Lucy will be easier to play, Rina you'll want to optimize the timing of her buffs. If you have Lucy's W-Engine I would go with Lucy, if not, Rina

Fusion Compiler with Rina and a PEN Ratio disk looks like a yummy option if I were to be honest. According to my calculations, I should be able to push all the way to 80% PEN.

Congrats on the E2S1 Jane! Jane honestly feels so strong in every content so far, and works with Burnice. If you just want more Electric coverage, you could go for Yanagi if you know you're skipping Harumasa, since then your Jane can solo one side with Jane + Seth + flex, and your Yanagi + Burnice + Lucy (or rina) can go on another side. I don't recommend Seth as the 3rd for Burnice/Yanagi since Seth only buffs one of them.

The base was Yanagi/Burnice/Rina, my fusion compiler numbers might be higher because I swapped over to a PEN% focused build when using it as well.

Yes, the quick swap parry walk animation locks you in and you are i-Framed for the entire duration. Both parts of the EX Skill (the thrust + the jump) are also all i-Frames!

It really isn't necessary, the numbers are almost equal If you are Pen oriented. If you want upgrade/ replace Grace to Yanagi. I would keep the Fusion Compiler for Yanagi, going 2pc Puffer, 5th Slot pentatio% and using Rina

With Grace's signature (but without Rina) I can see either going for signature or M1. I personally do like the M1. Even though the Signature is solid, if you happen to have a Grace's Sig lying, for value purposes you can just use that on Yanagi if you are okay with not having 'the best'.

You're the first one to show that the signature is not that different in damage and recommend cons. When other cals show it's 20-25% different in damage from all other options. So does her M1 better than S1?

While her Signature is solid, I do like her M1. If you don't have Fusion Compiler or Rina, the signature might be worth more (since it's also cheaper on average to pull), but with either of those (and especially with both) I think going for M1 will be more value.

Tbh you can get away with Yanagi/Piper/Lucy if you really have to run Jane and Yanagi in Shiyu for example and for content where Jane/Ellen doesn't do well you can slot in Yanagi and profit... Overall I think Yanagi is a decent investment for how her kit functions you'll always be able to pivot her into another stronger disorder centric team later on and she isnt a crit unit which I find easier to build with low resources and investment.

If you like her, I think you could definitely make 2 teams where Jane is on her own with Seth x flex, and then you can play Yanagi x Burnice. Jane is definitely strong enough on her own.

Grace (without the Yanagi W-Engine) feels quite a bit worse, so I definitely think Yanagi is worth it if you enjoy the Anomaly teams. One unfortunate thing to keep in mind though, is that the two don't really go well on a team together, so you would be essentially upgrading and replacing Grace → Yanagi.

Greetings fellow curvy women lovers. I would just like to ask something that confuses me about Yanagi. Does she proc Disorder on her own? Not the Polarity Disorder, but the actual nuclear Disorder that normally requires 2 anomalies of different attributes working together. This is because I'm planning to challenge Shiyu in the future. Unfortunately, I'm still fairly new and my main team is Caesar-Lucy-Piper. I was hoping to build the 2nd team around Yanagi. My initial plan was Yanagi-Nicole-Rina (50-50 loss from Burnice banner). I'm going to use Nicole and maybe an Ether bangboo to build up Ether anomaly to proc an actual Disorder. But if Yanagi can proc a Shock Disorder all by her lonesome, I'll probably swap Nicole with Seth.

The answer is no, but that’s not an issue. I would still recommend Seth over Nicole. Seth’s shield and AP buff will be incredibly useful for Yanagi. You will probably also want 4pc thunder metal on Yanagi and she will be on field 90% of the time like Jane ok this team.

Yanagi can only proc Polarity Disorder if there is only 1 type of Anomaly on the team, but Yanagi/Rina/Seth should work well (definitely recommended over Nicole) since Yanagi benefits a lot from AP.

LOL I'm still not fully convinced if I want her, but this showcase helps a lot with that and to see her true potential. At this point after getting lucky with 50/50 four times in a row since Qingyi, I'm just at the "whatever" phase... I struggle with that decision too. Other decent CC's recommend 4pc Freedom Blues. I guess I will keep it at Thunder Metal, because she IS on-field and No Matter what you have 10-13seconds Shock time after Disorder IS triggered. Then you Switch to the other Anomaly Agent

I think it can vary a lot depending on your rotation. For instance, if you're using 4pc Thunder Metal but you're playing Burnice x Yanagi and Burnice's Burn disorders your Yanagi's Shock as soon as you apply it, then your uptime on the 4pc is almost 0%.
