Girl I’m a hairstylist! Of 25 years. I cheated and permed my models hair when I had to do fingerwaves for my final test years ago. I barely passed. But have never had to do them since.. nervous that I may have to learn since this video and Erica are making them a trend again! Killing it!

Gurl, as a stylist, finger waves are the bane of my existence, but you made them look so much easier!! I think the biggest thing I noticed is in the back, you get the perfect little waves, but then comb them out when you take the next section. A little more practice and you'll have even more perfect hair all the time! I love it

I was taught to use a comb AND fingersss Hence the “FINGER” wave.. holding them with fingers can help u get em TIGHT 😜♥️

I totally know how frustrating it feels learning a new hairstyle. It took me a while and some tears to figure out how to french braid my own hair. It looked awful for the first month, but I saw progress so I kept going and it's a year later and I can do a perfect french braid!

Well done for leaning it do French braids on your own, I did it and it took me ages but so worth it as you can then do dutch braids and lace braids etc. The two you tubers I used were braidsandstyles12 and silvouplaits. They both have a basic braids series and it was super helpful when they explained hand positions etc.

hi Jazzmyne really unsure if u will ever seen this. but as i started cutting my own hair during pandemic and struggled at the back part aswell. i learn that holding and looking at a small mirror on ur hand instead, while having the big mirror at the back. helps a lot to see the behind portion of my head. hope this helps 😁😆😁
