Few things on Australia, the 8 pointed star is the federation star, and represents the 6 states and 2 territories of Australia, and no one cares about Tasmania Edit, I made a mistake, dispite being Australian, I never realised the federation star, also known as the commonwealth star, has 7 points, which, actually represents the original 7 states of Australia (the were supposed to be 7 states, but New Zealand never actually joined the Australian commonwealth)

In a history elective we actually covered "Heraldik" (eng. Heraldry). There are rules to how traditional banners were made. (for example metals shouldn't touch metals and colors should not touch colors, metals=yellow (gold) and white (silver), colors=red, brown, black, blue, green...) These rules were of course not set in stone, but generally made for easily distinguishable banners (important when you are fighting a battle, you dont want a red/green striped banner, or a white motive on yellow background)

The bunch of stars on the Aussie flag is the constellation the Southern Cross, visible in the southern hemisphere. Countries of the Pacific like New Zealand and I think Vanuatu, and a lot of territories like Cook islands of New Zealand incorporate it in their flags

Australia is easy fix. 1..Remove Union Jack from canton. 2. Insert Australia Coat of Arms into canton. 3. Keep Southern Cross on the field... But... 4. Change each star from a star and into an Australian animal symbol. Example: Big 7-point star into kangaroo... Other stars could become koala and wombat and whatever's appropriate.

I actually fixed the Australian flag two weeks ago lol,strange coincidence.I also did the Central African flag,what I did is search up the meaning and what I did is I took a French flag centered the yellow star,I then a green line go through the middle and added a red outline to the star and green stripe so it has all the symbolism of the French and pan African colors and will still look good
