I Tried Gaining More Instagram Followers Using ONLY Facebook Ads

The thing with sending people to a link is that they will open a browser version of Instagram. So, if they are not logged in the browser, they might just leave as it's an extra step. If you boost your posts/stories/reels from within the Instagram, they might visit your profile directly 🤔 I just don't think that you can boost reels that will show up in the reels part of the app. They usually show up in the timeline.

This can be a hack to redirect traffic to your Instagram profile, but as per Meta policies, if you keep doing this your account will flag disabled for violating the policies of Facebook because Facebook wants their audience to give a better experience, the URL will act as a landing page and the profile page URL is not a landing page and that gonna hamper the experience, that's the reason, facebook will disable your account after running a couple of similar type of campaign, I experienced the same.

Won't using your IG profile as the website URL take people to the browser version of IG instead of staying within the app and people won't be logged in? I've tried to find a work around for this but can't seem to find a way.

It could be because you need to target ppl who follow musicians who make similar music to yours, while also testing many ads

Hey! Post your instagram in the description of your videos and your channel description. I was gonna follow myself but didnt see it anywhere. Also using relevant and popular hash tags helps a lot. There's sites that you type a keyword into and it'll generate all the most relevant and popular hash tags that you can use on Insta.
