Turning off motion blur, chromatic abberation, film grain, and pushing the sharpness to 100 in the in game option menu makes the game look so much better. Looks perfect on an oled and one of the best looking HDR games on Series X.

A game that recommends specs that would cost at MINIMUM 3000$ to get to play with decent visuals isn't impressive in the slightest.

So far I am enjoying this game immensely, the puzzles are awesome, and it really does make you feel like Indiana jones while your are solving them. The puzzles are really well done from what I have seen so far. This is without a doubt the best Indiana jones game ever released.

I love the way the cutscenes are in this game. They’re short and sweet set between gameplay unlike a Hideo Kojima game where he’ll have you watch a 20 minute cutscene in the first minute of the game lol

I read that there will be a physical release, but the full game is not on the disc. The Xbox disc can only hold 50 gigabytes I believe.. and the game is almost 150 GB

If it really is 150G of actual download data, (finished install can be more than whatever that was of course) then it probably won't be all on the larger disc for PS5 either then. Even if PS5 games tend to be a fair bit lighter than XS due to the compression and speed thing.

Thanks for showing the console version, I was a little worried but it looks really solid to me. I think we just have a game here that scales up significantly beyond console spec on PC with all the “Full RT” effects. Troy Baker really sounds like a younger Harrison Ford too, that guy is really talented and in numerous amazing titles.

Digital Foundry did a deep dive analysis of the Xbox console versions, both run at a locked 60fps. Series X is 4k 60fps and Series S is 1080p 60fps.

@@acurisur I saw that this morning after watching this video. I think it runs at 1800p internally and is upscaled to 4k (on Series X). But that’s still amazing and shows how talented Machine Games (and id Tech) are. It’s up there with the best of PlayStation Studios in terms of maximizing image quality and performance on console. There’s so many games now that render at or below 720p on 10-12TF machines. I’m glad we got such an optimal version of India Jones on Series X.

Maybe the PS5 will have the full game on 2 discs but seems unlikely for a Microsoft published title. I always buy physical for big games I’m playing full price for. If it’s an older game unavailable physically or really cheap, then I will buy digital but I hate it. The market is just passively, slowly accepting the all-digital future where consumers have less agency and everyone seems cool with that.

The only problem I have with the game is that once you get into the game in the city it starts to look like a xbox one game and the graphics start to diminish
