9:01 That’s *Toho Shrine* that sits at the end of Narita’s Runway B. It’s surrounded by three-meter security walls topped by barbed wire with lots of security cameras and security guards patrol it but, apparently, anyone can visit it. (There’s a video in English “Visiting a MAXIMUM SECURITY Shrine at Narita Airport” of someone doing just that.) It seems like the refusal to vacate the shrine-which was established in 1937 to enshrine those who died in the early days of aviation, including the son of the founder-was, at least in part, in protest because of how the Japanese government expropriated the land for the airport in the 1970s.) There are also two private farms, the owners of which similarly refused to relocate, surrounded by the premises of the airport as well.

1:50 min Thank you for showing how simple is to take the bus ticket to the Narita Airport. Anyway thank you for the video. It looks so simple to take a low cost carrier. BTW I like your screen Pic on your mobile phone, the cute sleeping Sushi.

Nice flight review video what a great service from a low-cost carrier there. This makes me feel like I'll choose Jetstar next time I travel to Japan and want to visit another city that is far away from Tokyo. I'm missing meal/catering services during the flight. Here in Thailand in-flight services are still restricted and no food or drinks are served here. Hope that all the airlines here will bring these services back soon.
@travelgeekphotography2 жыл бұрын
Hi PocketHuntz! From Tokyo, you can fly to Sapporo, Fukuoka, or Okinawa other than Osaka by using budget airlines or LCC. We have Peach, Jetstar, Skymark, and so on. Oh, really? I didn't know that some countries has now stricted their catering services. I hope they will bring them back soon too because I will try Thai Airline at some point to fly to Thailand😃

Jetstar here in Australia has an image problem Brough about by cancellation of flights and poor on time departure. However Jetstar Japan seems very efficient in that typical Japanese way. Jetstar Australia could learn from its Japanese offshoot.

Jetstar Japan seems way better than Jetstar Australia! Lovely video. Discovered your channel today and been watching most of your videos today. I was meant to visit Japan in October 2020 but covid came along. I hope one day I can come to Japan and explore it. Might be hard for me to navigate in a wheelchair but it seems like a great place to visit anyways :)

Hi, FooFarny. Welcome to my channel😊 I know Jetstar is an Australian company. It's dominating here in Japan and cheapest airline everyone loves. I hope you will visit Japan and have so much fun when Japan reopens to more tourists :)

That curry box looks so good. I wish here in America survived food like this for a cheap flight. You would only get chips, crackers, cookies and/or drink here in America. Here, it is better to buy something to eat before going on the airplane. Similar to when you said it is better to buy food before going on the train in Japan. ✈

Let me get this; they are concerned about your bags weight, but not your own weight, and still you get to purchase items after weighing your bag, food or otherwise, before the security checkpoint.. That's just 5¥ and 10¥'ing you. Do they give you a rebate for using the restroom (whichever you had to use)?

after watch your trip review seems Jetstar in Japan is better than in Australia, your trip is going well with no issue, unfortunately, this airline in Australia provides the worst service, delay is normal, if the passenger in the regional airport the aircraft has experienced "engineering issue" the delay is much longer because there are no engineers in the regional airport. But these days due to staff shortages or other reasons, this airline will cancel the flight automatically less than 48 hours prior to travelling and the rearrangement is totally ruined customers itinerary/holiday. In addition, some staff is very rude. if customers want to call them regarding the flight issue, but the waiting time can take 30-60 and more mins before speak to someone, By far the worst Australian airline in my opinion. I took Jetstar a few years ago with the worst customer service, rude staff and I never flying with them again.

I don't understand why anyone would fly such a relatively short distance; the environmental cost is huge. Surely the sensible and more environmentally friendly option, a train, makes more sense.

A budget airline in my country (USA) is bound to be dirty, rude people and terrible. Everything in Japan looks so much better. The people look clean and civilized, the roads, rails, buses and airports look well maintained. I really do wish I could move to Japan. It looked like a great flight, even the food looked good.
@travelgeekphotography2 жыл бұрын
Hello, Tucker. Jetstar is originally an Australian company but doing so good in Japan as a reliable yet cheap budget airline. Thanks for saying so. We Japanese have been proud of our hospitality and being polite in every way. That's our national character☺️
