I mean, they also have one of the highest suicide rates because of all the pressure put on them to constantly work and strive for perfection. They also still slaughter dolphins and are lacking when it comes to animal rights (owl cafes, for example), not to mention the age of consent is currently 13 years old, which means they are allowed to have sex with literal children (unless they're more than 5 years older, which still means someone 18, which is a legal adult, can have sex with them), yet they censor porn. So, while there are good things about Japan (and I myself really want to visit there), they have a lot of things they need to change.

@@englishatheart1. Dolphins are psychotic rapists so murder away 2. That AoC is only in a small handful of prefectures and only allows it between those of similar ages. Most places are still 18. Plus even in the US most states' AoC is 16

This was very interesting for me: I especially liked the country houses and the beautiful landscape with mountains and meadows! Sometimes I felt like I was in Europe! These private booths are certainly comfortable and good, but I miss the feeling of space, the freedom to look out of any window, because the scenery is like a fairy tale! I couldn't even imagine that Japan is so beautiful!

@Slade L., yea and who would've thought a bus ride in Japan would be so popular to view! Then to see all of the things "Japanese" in signs and symbols etc., so nice but then to see @14:18 a "Coca-Cola" sign, lol. I liked the small river way with the overhanging trees and sidewalks, then the "country sides"... I think our host was right tho, that "10 minute rest stop" wasn't much of a rest. I know that more people are less likely to disembark if time is very limited or otherwise they will be hurried. Frankly, I think 30 minutes would've been a good rest for the driver and passengers to all have coffee, visit restrooms and shop briefly.

The private rooms in buses are great solution, which I haven't seen anywhere but Japan. I wish to see them somewhen in Europe. However, it fits better for long journeys, when you spend a night in bus, not just 3 hours... What I've missed, is the possibility of locking the door. The best solution would be electronic cards, like in good hotels. It enables to authorize the card only for the time passenger is riding, according to his ticket, and also makes the bus staff able to open the locked door in emergency situations. Why locking the door? If you're going to the toilet, or if you leave the bus during the break - you can lock the door so that other passengers cannot steal something of your property. You can also lock the door inside while you'd like to keep you super private.
@travelgeekphotography
@travelgeekphotography 2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I agree 100%. This private room is not for a short ride but for an overnight ride for sure😅 The room should be locked so that it would be safer for a user. I think so too!
