Many koreans think their skin is really sensitive therefore companies make products very very mild and suitable for any skin types so it makes sense why u thought products like klairs toner(white one) didnt come up with a dramatic outcome. However, if u try them everyday and for a long period they would definitely change your skin in a good way!!

99.99999999% of Kelly Driscoll’s recommendations are life changing for me. Probably because they’re fragrance free, essential oil free and very skin barrier friendly. Her channel is mostly centered around k-beauty skincare and her tips and product recommendations are actually amazing. I recently found Kelly Driscoll’s channel and she made me fall in love with k beauty. I’ve made multiple orders from YesStyle and western skincare just does not compare. My typically very dehydrated tret skin has never been less irritated or more happy. So far I particularly love the Dear Klairs fundamental line, the Keep Cool and Soothe toner, the CosRX panthenol cream, and the Purito unscented sunscreen. I think it might be one of my favorite brands. I tried their sunscreens first, and now I'm several days into use their Purito Unscented Centella Serum. I'm already seeing an improvement in skin irritation; I have problems with redness and I believe I may have mild rosacea. I noticed they recently updated the formulas of several products, like the Unscented Centella Toner. They took out the witch hazel to make it even more skin friendly.

As someone who has been using the Dear Klairs Gentle Black Deep Cleansing Oil for about 9 months already, I must say it is not really "fragrance free" because it contains essential oils. It does smell like a spa tho. I did start using it a bit scared, since I have sensitive acne-prone skin, but I think James was right and it did help a lot with reducing my sebum production, which in time helped me with keeping my skin clear from acne for longer periods of time, and even get less cystic acne. I am happy it does not contain any acids, especially salicylic acid, since I seem to be sensitive to it. My skin gets irritated to the level of sharp pain, by using it. It's not easy to find good products for acne-prone skin if you are avoiding salicylic acid. I do want to let people know that Dear Klairs **just launched an new version to the oil** that looks almost like that one, but contains no essential oils. Haven't tried it yet since I didn't finish the bottle of this one, But if the essential oils are a problem you might want to try this one out. It's called Gentle Black Fresh Cleansing Oil, and I understand this one IS fragrance free, and much lighter.

I've been using the 'tingly' Dear Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin C drops for a couple of years. As one of your older viewers, firming things up and getting rid of discoloration is REALLY important to me. It has improved my skin significantly and it's my daily secret weapon against spots on the backs of my hands! You are right about it needing to be in a dark container, because it starts turning yellow well before I finish a bottle.

K beauty brand user for over a year now. Love love love. I can not say enough good things. Once you learn your skin type and what you need it is really to find what you need. Try Thank You farmer rice clay to foam cleaner, it helped with my large dirty pores. Klairs is the best!! I love their night midnight blue calming cream with my pink skin! I am 40 and have always used a moisturizer, but K beauty brands are on a next level.

Hydrocolloid patches ARE EVERYTHING. I have cystic hormonal acne and I know the product says that it won’t work on deep acne.. but they work. 3 days and my pimple is gone when it would have taken 2 weeks otherwise. Soooooo useful for stopping picking

If you are interested in K beauty, check out Kelly Driscoll. She I Skin is more dehydrated and dry than yours and so it tends to go for richer products but she does deal with acne and is all about fragrance free, barrier supportive, sensitive skin friendly products.

No judgement, I've done it, that person over there has done it.. since quarantine I promised myself to try to cut back (quarantine is also when I started a skin care routine beyond maybe washing my face) And I have cut back a lot on picking and popping. Ouuuf please be careful if u try the 7 steps with the toner. Personally , it broke me out really badly (combo skin). Do max 2 layers for like a week , if its not breaking u out, add another layer and see if its fine or not, keep going slowly so u dont end up like me and my broken acid mantle :')

@@ezajaiman8314 I love it, you can use it a spot treatment, or a moisturizer! A spot treatment that's not drying your skin, but dries the pimples overnight. Great for preventing/maintenance too! Lightweight and a little goes a long way. So yes I think it's worth a try!

It works, trust me. K beauty turned my incredibly irritated and sensitized skin (also oily) into a normal skin. I used Krave Beauty Great Barrier Relief, Wishtrend Mandelic Acid and Make Prem UV Defense Me Sunscreen (and a brazilian cleanser) and that was it. IT WORKS!

They have niacinamide in almost(?) all their products like iunik😭😭 I had to stop using purito centella unscented serum & iunik centella calming gel cream because they both irritate my skin and gave me itchy bumps.

@@cliff1745 I got that cream as well because Hyram recommended it! I didn't have any bad irritations, but it is too weak for my skin. I put it on and after a minute my face feels super dry already and I put it on a second time. Now I use the "COSRX - Ultimate Nourishing Rice Overnight Spa Mask" and it is so gentle and moistruizing

@@lara_xy Hey! I understand what you mean. The gel cream dries down matte AND leaves your skin feeling weird? Kinda like dry but in a smooth way. But I agree, the hydration & moisture weren't great. I heard of how amazing the cosrx rice spa mask is but the niacinamide in it means I can't use it😭😭😭 Anyway, I'm planning to get the Etude House soon jung 2x intensive barrier cream. Hopefully it's what my skin wants!

My skin: Can tolerate the highest tretinoin and azelaic acid prescriptions Also my skin: Can’t handle physical or chemical exfoliation at all! I have a drawer full of exfoliating products (each time I switch to a gentler product lol still haven’t found the sweet spot). I also can’t use the textured side of my pmd cleansing brush often. Hoping my skin can build some exfoliating toleration bc I am prone to milia.

@@sirishasastry oh I’m sorry. I’ve heard of people being sensitive to niacinimide and hyaloronic acid. Thank goodness at least my skin can handle that much! But yeah sometimes my skin won’t like it if I rub too hard with my towel. Insane. I’m recovering from Covid and only used the gentlest of moisturizers. Somehow Covid made my skin BURNNNN. I did use a Cerave skin protectant Vaseline like product and my skin looooved it. I find my skin also loves a few layers of I’m from Rice toner. It’s not hyaloronic acid but it made my skin hydrated more than I felt hyaloronic acid did. I no longer even use a sheet mask!

I'm 59 and I like your review so much I decided to order the Klairs Fundamental Watery Oil Drop and the Acid-Duo Hibiscus 63 Cream. My skin is weird. I have rosacea and still have adult acne, the sebum literally sticks out at my temples and my jawline area is rough to the touch, not to mention my T zone gets more oily every year. Yeesss it's the propylene glycol that's giving it the warming sensation. Ps: some lubricants use that ingredient with the same purpose 😉

Actually... the Black oil cleanser is not fragrance free! At least not according to the ingredients list on the Wishtrend site.
