Coming from an area in Canada where lobster is fished I have to say that was a sad looking lobster, they should be plumper and glistening. Hopefully one day you will have a good lobster. However the best way to eat it is not in a fancy restaurant but outside where you get messy and can relax.

I find broiled lobster tough. The best lobster is boiled in the water it came out of. Pull out of the pot and put back in the ocean to cool the shell. The only tool needed is a your hands and a heavy blade knife, like a hunting knife or lacking that a rock off the beach, just for cracking the claws.
