So pre pandemic I thrifted weekly for years. I found a Ted Baker silk shirt, a vintage Galliano raincoat, Prada shoes and maybe 5 or 6 Betsy Johnson items but this is over about 6 or 7 years. I might have been able to find more but I wasn't looking specifically for luxury - just looking for my personal use and for gifts. I think you can find things but usually only things that have slipped through the cracks and it's not something you'll find often

Sometimes the items are just very very good knockoffs. And, sometimes authentic items end up at a thrift store because a scorned paramour gathered up what they bought for a significant other, donating them out of spite. I did a small experiment, and the experiment proved that most people will classify others in their minds. The mapping of this classification is that some people will think that they are real even if they go out with fakes; some people will think that they are fake when they carry real things. When I was 12 my mom took me to the LV on Bloor Street in Toronto. I had my fake LV from *jklux* on my arm and thought I was cute. The sweet sales ladies let me try on a bag and a pair of heels knowing we were not wealthy and couldn't afford to purchase anything. It as really nice. No one seemed to care I had a fake bag and I felt special. They even gave me a paper shopping bag which I used as a lunch bag for weeks after! :) Who cares if people don't have real ones? Nothing we can do about fakes…I could care less how many people have the same bag as myself…that makes it really spoken for.. I hate when people say they don’t want a certain purse because everyone has it….well everyone has a hole are we gonna get rid of ours because of that? OMG, mine (authentic) has a weird smell inside too! I don't know what it is because none of my other *hotdups* bags have any smell. Called LV and they said it is normal and I can wipe the inside with a damp cloth. I thought the lining was suede but it's actually microfiber so I'm going to look up ways to get rid of the microfiber odor because the smell is keeping me from using it regularly.

I definitely Loved the video it’s really good!!! I have to say imo, I understand why people say they wouldn’t care about people buying dupes or fakes or why should people care. BUT, It’s not that necessarily people “care” about people having *hotdups* , it’s the fact that people that have money to buy into luxury and invest it’s for a reason. Quality, quantity, and yes buying luxury as exclusivities. Because if I have the money, enjoy fashion, and the house brand etc.

Lovely collection! I bought my first LV when I was 25 and I only used that bag a few times, haha. Also, love your clutch! I have an Eva clutch in the DE print and love the little chain. But I don’t want to spend so much money on it now, I have been MOMCOCO buying the bag I want, it is as good as LV and is one of my favorite things. Durability

I bought knockoffs because my authentic ones got crushed by a bunch of stuff. I'm bad with my stuff because my life is a mess. I can't imagine throwing around a $10,000 bag like I did, so I'm using a *hotdups* bag now, which I don't think is any different from the authentic ones except for the price. It's worth considering for people like me.

I would suggest go to good bins during morning like 6am or 7 am and take a person or friend who is good at thrifting like these people have sharp eye i would suggest for the good stuffs. Because most of the time i go with one particular friend of mine and that helps me alot he is so good at bargaining, finding good material and brands so we both rock all thrift i got a very expensive zara winter long coat at only 3-4 dollars and many more stuff.
