The trick is, to use tweezers and put bottom lash first. Hold it with tweezers where you want it and then let upper fall, it will get on the bottom one. Easy, quick, and works with every magnetic lashes 😎 also it’s better is you have good layer of mascara on your lashes 🙂👍

I use magnetic lashes all the time and I got mine at the drug store, Ardell Accent Magnetic lashes. They are the same size as yours but have two magnets per lash allowing you to get them closer to the lash line. I think they were about $12. They also carry a full strip lash but I found they were entirely too hard to get on correctly. But overall, I'd recommend them to anyone who doesn't want to mess with glue and allows themselves a few practice tries to get the technique of applying them down. You may have more success with ones with two magnets per lash opposed to the one magnet ones you were trying. Always enjoy your videos Saf :)

Simon Opps we learned it in two components. Lie is a homonym. There's the verb to lie which can me that you're lying down or that you're saying something that is false. When it comes to lying down, lie is used for yourself so you can say I'm lying down, because you're lying yourself down. On the other hand lay is used for putting anything but yourself on the ground. Example: a chicken laying an egg or when you lay something down. It gets more confusing since the conjugation of the verbs are tricky. The past tense of "to lie" is "lay" (e.g. I lay down to sleep for a nap earlier.). And the past tense for "to lay" is "laid" or (e.g. I laid the book on the table). Saying "I lied down" is incorrect because the past tense "lied" is for the verb "to lie" when you're saying something false. I have blue and peach undertones in my skin (since my veins show through on my face) and I've still managed to pull off a green lip. It took a lot of experimenting, but there are tricks. For starters, different green lip shades will have different undertones, some will match your skin's natural undertone and some will clash. Secondly, you can "line" your lips by covering your entire lip with a liquid lip shade (or a liner pencil) that you think will help the green shade work better for you. You could do it with a warm black, a deep brown--apply it, put the green shade on top, and play around with different combinations. You can play around with your complexion makeup to make your whole face match the unconventional lip or eye color you're trying to use, using color correction products or a cooler-than-you foundation or bb cream as long as it's not full coverage. That way, your skin's natural undertone will still come through and it won't look as ashy or weird. I find that for otherworldly looks--ie, a look based around a green lip color, it's more OK if your complexion makeup is a bit different from your natural skin color, as long as you don't have a strange line of demarcation on your neck or by your ears. I use neutral undertone foundation, but I use a cooler toned bb cream (Erborian UK) when I want to do a green or blue lip look. It helps everything come together so much better! In my case, it was definitely a big challenge to make it work, but I kept trying things here and there for a few months until I found a routine that worked for me. I was highly motivated because I'm a Harry Potter fanboy and was trying to create some Slytherin-inspired looks. It may not be as easy as applying lipstick and you're done, but I think it's possible to rock a green lip if the rest of your face comes together to support it.

I feel like these lashes are 1) just a little too small for eyes/your eyes and 2) definitely need to be more naturally curved to the shapes of eyes, because you keep getting it so close in the middle and the edges just... aren't as close. Like you're putting a square peg in a triangular hole.

Yup! The lashes seem to be too short and too straight to fit the eye. i think if they make them more curved and like a full strip of lashes it would work much better! My immediate thought as well... the part where the actual magnet lies... they stick nicely but the edges are just kind of sticking out... That would drive me up a wall if they were not flush with the curve of the top of the lash line. I did locate magnetic lashes that *did* go the whole length of the lash line, from inner to outer corner, and had more smaller magnets on them (the two crucial points being at both ends so they stay flush) on AliExpress for about $3 if you're willing to wait two months to receive them.

I agree! Kandee Johnson did a video on these exact lashes. And One/two gave her tips to fix these problem. I didn't see the applicator they give you with these eyelashes. Did she not get one??? Also you can hold them and roll them left to right to help them curve with your eye so they won't stand out in the corners. Watch her video. It's a really good follow-up to this one.

But isn't the point of TNR that they *stay* outside to keep other cats away and reduce population problems in certain areas? (I am totally for adopting strays and I personally have done it several times, but I thought that was the opposite of the point for TNR)

I don't know about keeping other cats away, but I know that TNR is all about encouraging population control. But if you can get a stray or feral to trust you enough to live inside, I think that's even better. I've been trying to get one inside for years. (I have her littermate inside already.) She freaks out as soon as the door closes though.

SamaChaos Not really. If a feral becomes friendly or is willing to live inside they should. The whole keeping other cats away thing has to do with removing the entire colony from the area and why that doesn't work. If you move the colony a new one will move. TNR is just for population control.

I honestly prefer magnetic lashes. Hands down get them from Amazon or Ulta(I haven't found them in Sephora but if you do, awesome!) Way better price. They're just like eyeliner, takes a little bit to get used to them and find your prefered technique. Curl them! If you curl the band a bit they will fit better and won't try to fight against your natural eye curve, this is what usually causes them to push off of your lashes

When I do it I put on a coat of mascara and then I put the bottom ones on first. (They stick to the mascara) I then close me eye and place the top one on!:) also, that "handkerchief" is to put down so that it catches the lashes if you drop them!:)

I feel like curling before mascara could also be a good shout if you do the top first. Your lashes will be lifted more to hold them! And having a mirror at eye line or above so you're not looking down :)

Julianne im the opposite...my sneaky big sister told me eyelashes grow back like hair and she convinced me to cut them off when I was six. Now whenever I use fake lashes it's a distinct two lengths and my natural ones stick out awkwardly
