Excellent recipe, Ariel. If you want a more concentrated rosemary infused oil, grind the dried rosemary leaves into a powder. Add the oil of your choice to the ground rosemary leaves; and let the mixture infuse up to one month or more. Strain off the solid portion of the rosemary leaves, and you got a more potent rosemary infused oil. This is how I prep my rosemary infused oil using dried rosemary leaves. Hope this helps. ❤

Which oil did you use to make it,what quantities do you use and do we have to keep it in direct sunlight??
@WiseLady7 Жыл бұрын
@@meenalsingh6624 I use extra virgin olive oil (EVOO), but you can use any other carrier oil of your choice. I usually "eyeball" the amount. I don't use specific amounts like 2 tbsps., 1/4 cup, 1/2 cup, etc. Although I have infused rosemary oil using sunlight in the past, I prefer to use the "double boiling" method. I pour water into a pot big enough to place a mason jar in it containing the rosemary dried leaves or ground rosemary powder combined with EVOO. I turn the flame on low, and let the oil infuse up to 10-15 minutes, without a lid on the mason jar. After 10-15 minutes, I turn off the flame and let the infused oil cool. After the infused oil has cooled, I remove the mason jar out of the pot containing the hot water, wipe away any water on the mason jar, and stir the infused rosemary oil thoroughly with a sterilized spoon. I add vitamin-E oil as a natural preservative. TO AVOID MOLD CONTAMINATION, PLEASE MAKE SURE NO WATER COMES IN CONTACT WITH THE INFUSED OIL! Then I place a thoroughly cleaned, dry, sterilized mason jar lid on top of the mason jar, and place the mason jar in a cool, dry, dark place up to four weeks. Make sure the lid is on tightly. Some people allow their oil to infuse even longer. From time to time during the four-week period, I will shake the mason jar so that the rosemary leaves or ground powder will infuse thoroughly with the EVOO. After the four weeks are up, I use cheese cloth to strain off the infused oil from the rosemary leaves or ground powder. I add my favorite essential oils (rosemary, clary sage and peppermint) to the infused rosemary oil. You can use any other EO you desire...and that's it. Hope this helps.❤

I had COVID that lasted around 11 days. I thought I was ok but I began to notice a loss of more hair than normal. Following some research, I've come to realize it’s from the strain my body went through during that time period and also due to the shampoo I had been using. So I started doing yoga and meditation everyday and changed my shampoo and conditioner to littleextraa cooconion anti hair fall kit. And now i dont face any hair fall. Thanks for this video! I'm feeling so much better.

Wow, I just stumbled across you while I was researching Rosemary again. Very nice video, by the way. However, I would suggest putting your jar in a brown bag. The sun destroys and breaks down the oil. Also, I was taught to infuse my oils for 6-8 weeks and shake them every day for the first 2 weeks. Then every other day for the remaining 6 weeks, But I have found that experimenting and figuring out what's best for me and my needs works best!!! Great video. Thank you for sharing!!!

You should crush the leave inside the jar to release some of the oil from the rosemary, then pour the oil into the jar, before boiling it for 15mins

I did mine with fresh rosemary but i stuck the whole stem and Rosemary leaves in the jar than i poured Grape Seed oil over top but i didnt cover the rosemary totally because i also added in a bit of castor oil . Than i did a double broiler method. Let cool than left it in there for 2 weeks and than i strained the rosemary and man omg wasnit ever powerful and made my hair feel great. What i also did to was i collected rain water and heated that up a bit and rinsed my hair out after the rosemary treatment with the rain water. My hair and scalp felt amazing

Can i heat up the rosemarry oil with double boiling method after infusing it for 2 weeks in the sun.??????🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 ( before separating the rosemary from the oil )🤔🤔🤔
@YaoiCifer19 ай бұрын
I’m no expert, But my research led me to believe that no-boiling method (including the natural sun(Many believe the direct sunlight might be too potent at decaying(breaking) down the materials used) would be recommended. But I’ve always wondered “why not.” I can see how doing some sort of low heat method could help. 1.) Speed up the infusion process. & possibly 2.) Make the infusion a bit stronger, in comparison to the "old-folk method." Where every step is similar, other than placing the jar in a sunny-spot. Some place the jars around a fireplace, for the emanating warmth coming out - which makes me believe placing the jars around sunlight might imitate the same effect, but not in Direct sunlight. This is all my assumptions near the end, just to clarify. Lmao. Sorry. 3/19/24 Edit: Heard a herbalist placed the jar in a brown bag & then that could be placed in direct sunlight. The brown bag both acts as a 'shield' from the light & becomes warm inside, sort of intensifying the heat within.

@@stylebyariel True I don't agree too. One of my dermatologist friends showed me the studied research on coconut oil + hair growth. Because of its, antibacterial properties, and rich in nutrients, it promotes hair growth, mainly if you incorporate it with rosemary oil, it boosts the hair growth. There are studies on rosemary for hair growth too. But it also stated that rosemary also might irritate the scalp if it's used everyday on the scalp. So 2 to 3 times a week is preferred. All you have to do is apply the oil on scalp and massage it for 10 minutes, so you can increase the blood circulation on the scalp, so it helps to absorb the oil deeply. You can leave it for few hours or overnight and wash it off next day with sulphate free shampoo and conditioner. It takes at least 8 weeks to see clear results 😊
