I tried merging Pure Vessel and Hollow Knight Fight...

This was supposed to be a video about Radiant Pure Vessel but I remember the fight with the Hollow Knight in the Black Egg and thought of this idea. I've lessen the memes/sound effects on this one because the battle with the Hollow Knight is sad to begin with. Let me know what you think :D

Fighting the Hollow Knight after the Pure Vessel is sad as shit cause you can see how much damage the Infection did to them, you can see how a strong and powerful warrior was tore down until all that was left was practically just a Puppet of the Infection that just wants it's life to end

I was expecting it to be like the pure vessel becoming infected and weaker as the fight went on but this is also really neat, like they're remembering their past and how they failed their purpose.

The only time I am glad the Godseeker existed is when he allowed The Hollow Knight to become his true, pure self. I fought the Pure Vessel before him and I was so depressed to see all the attacks and spells he tried to do i.e Swords from below, Sword Barrage.

Just seeing the Godmaster endings give a ray of hope for the Hollow Knight. At least then, he's free of the Infection and cut loose from the Black Egg, able to reunite with his little sister waiting outside. And I have to admit, I was pretty impressed with how big the Hollow Knight even is. Just with the statue of him in the City of Tears for reference, his head/mask is as big as Hornet's entire body, and bigger than Little Ghost.

Like there's a cutscene during a battle between Hornet and Lace and one or both of them just *appear* to protect their sister and drive Lace away.

@@shadowstar8619 Not sure, there are rumour Silksong plays before the original game. Although the possibility is there that it would be just the beginning and mid-game and in late game you would be at post-world of Hallownest.

@@123hattan One other thing. I'm not sure Hollow will even need to be told about Ghost's adventures. If you look at the tablet that gives Ghost the World Sense ability, it's implied that it was originally meant for Hollow, so he could watch everything that happened in Hallownest despite being sealed away. He might've locked onto Ghost the moment the little guy dropped into Hallownest, acting as the "camera" we play through all throughout the game.

Honestly, the Hollow Knight fight was probably THE saddest thing in the game. When the Hollow Knight is attacking himself, I'm pretty sure that's him trying to fight The Radience by stabbing the Infection's heart, even if that means sacrificing himself. Then there's the overall messed up backstory of the Pale King and the Vessels. The king literally murdered an entire species and only spared one (as far as he knew) just so he could sacrifice the Hollow Knight. He didn't even really look at them or treat them like beings, stuff like "No will to break" was him treating them as mindless husks while the Hollow Knight and the Ghost prove that was untrue. Furthermore, the Pale King sacrificed the Hollow Knight and then just left his entire Kingdom, proven by Dream-Nailing some of his old followers to see stuff like "King, we need you" and "Where have you gone?" So to sum it up, the Ghost and the Hollow Knight are part of a misunderstood species that was nearly murdered to extinction, and then they were tasked with saving the very kingdom that murdered their kind. Plus the King was an unempathetic coward who looked down on the Vessels and did whatever he wanted to them because they had "no voice to cry out in suffering." Edit: You're welcome for giving you a whole Hollow Knight video about the crimes of Hallownest ;)

Damn this comment! It's an entire content. I can probably make this a video or something. Anyway, I was really sad when I encounter that boss fight as well back when I didn't know godhome exist. After I finished the game, it feels like I'm leaving everyone behind from all those sht that the pale king have done. He may have showed some feelings (like being a father) to the Hollow Knight as some theories suggests making the Hollow Knight not entirely hollow but this doesn't justify the crap he has done from what your comment just summarized 😂 10/10 comment.

the first half def felt meme-y, the second half could've been done a bit more somber if that's what you were going for. if you can master both styles and then switch between both, that would be super sick, but not many people have the skill and knowledge to do that. sticking with one style is the rule, and switching between the two is intentionally breaking it for artistic sake. good luck in the future :)

Alternate univere where ghost(the vessel you play as) and Hollow were alive around the same time, with hollow in his prime and ghost still getting the hang of things and the two are training together. During the infected Hollow fight you uses the same moves he used during training and Ghost has flashbacks to Hollow prime during the boss fight. Hollow knew that he might fail to contain the radiance so he used predictable, tho still pretty difficult moves for Ghost to figure out and forces his body to use those moves so Ghost can have a chance at beating him

This is... Beautiful. The editing is on point, making it seem as if you're looking into it's future and knowing that the pure vessel is going to go through so much pain, but knowing you can't do anything to prevent said pain and said future.

Imagine if every time you stun PV or THK it swaps between them, the Godseeker's attunement messing with things so much that they're attuning to THK and The Knight at once, causing The Knight to go back and forth between PV in Godhome and THK in the Black Egg. It gets so hectic that when THK starts stabbing himself, the music starts overlapping, with THK phase 2 theme and PV's theme playing in perfect unison, and after it changes back to PV, he starts stabbing himself as well, gaining sentience and realizing what the Godseeker's attunement would mean for the Radiance: an increase in power. In this phase, PV can only do one attack, which is release void tendrils from his body as he starts to lose control over his own shade and the void inside himself, and aside from that, he just continues to impale himself while his gaze remains on the Knight, possibly his last living kin (Hornet aside, as she's more of a half sister). After one more transition back to THK in the black egg, you can then land the final hit on The Hollow Knight, and doing so once again transitions back to Godhome. The Knight, in a cutscene sequence, walks over to it's sibling, which reaches out with it's hand, specifically the hand it lost in the real world, placing it on the Knight, not as an attempt to harm, but to reconcile. Their eyes locked, recalling their first meeting in the Abyss, where one fell, and the other ascended. One's eyes is full of regret, shame, and sorrow, unfitting for one called Hollow, the other is seemingly empty, but at the same time, they're filled with understanding, and forgiveness. This fight was not caused by hate, or want of revenge, but out of need, of longing, from both vessels, and with that, the Hollow Knight musters enough strength to re-seal itself for now, while the Knight enters the Sibling cutscene with the younger Hollow Knight and the other dead vessels.
