Starting January 1st of this year I have started a 90 day Bible challenge and it’s been so hard and feels impossible some days but it’s been so rewarding and it’s so amazing how much my life has changed and how much of the word I’m memorizing just from reading and praying! Praying you are able to keep going and pressing in don’t get weary! 🎄

Wow this is wonderful! I'm so glad to see someone take so much commintment to get into the word of God. Reading it has definity changed my life as a Christain. I hope it changes yours as well! I love what you said about our misaktes and that we need whats in the old testament. Posting something like this is really amazing of you to do!

Your comments on the early books were also my thoughts exactly when reading them. It is frustrating reading the rise and fall of the Israelite's in the early books and how it keeps happening over and over again but the thing I took from it is that even though they kept failing and abandoning God, He still loved them and made plans for their salvation and it definitely is why we needed a Saviour so badly and honestly what a Blessing that God gave us Christ as a true way to save us.

I think it would have been easier for you if you started with a single column paragraph format. Instead of the double column. I myself am about 60 days in and am finishing up the gospels right now. I only do an hour a day. At times, the single column does help me read easier, but I do still prefer the double column.

i read the whole bible in 2 weeks, you can do it, you just have to spend all day reading it, i also used large print bibles, i was guided by the Holy Spirit to do so, the key is intention and desire

@landonlassic2349 you shouldn't just read just to read but have a purpose, to understand the creator more, be lead by the Holy Spirit Ruach Hakodesh, I'm not saying don't do the challenge but rather have a deeper purpose than just trying to finish it like a checklist, Jesus is not a checklist but a relationship

I would encourage you not to push yourself too much reading the whole Old Testament because it can be quite complicated. I would start off with the New Testament and starting off with the book of John: an introduction of who Jesus is. Also I would encourage you to ask the Holy Spirit for guidance on how to read and study the Word, because it is a beautiful book!
