I have been using the i3 version for around 5 months now. Got it for a sale at roughly 41k from Flipkart. Not much to complain honestly. Complete metal build, a crisp 400 nits 2k display, a nice backlit keyboard, fast RAM a large trackpad, USB C charging, fingerprint sensor. Pretty solid in my opinion at this price. Text looks sharp on the display and specially the aspect ratio is good for reading and programming but not for media consumption as you get annoying black bars. Also Realme could have worked a little bit on the color calibration. Display goes upto 400 nits but at the lowest brightness setting, display gets completely turned off, which is slightly annoying.The keyboard is good to type. The trackpad area is large which is a bonus. Comes with dual fans. Windows 11 is running quite smooth (clean vanilla windows with almost no bloatware) till now, except for one occasion where I had a hiccup and it got solved after restarting. Fingerprint sensor is fast. One small issue, the charging adapter runs hot while charging. Battery life is quite decent, around that 6 hour mark. Overall the i3 version is pretty worth it, I was initially a bit skeptical since its a first gen product from Realme but at this price, I decided to give it a go as this kind of build quality and overall combination was not common at this sort of price. Coming to the i5 version, you could pay a little extra and get a Xiaomi Notebook I suppose, which comes with a higher res display and more RAM. But at this price, its a solid buy overall. Also Realme Book Prime is supposed to launch in India with higher capacity RAM options, might make more sense if they price it right

Bro do you know how to reconfigure PrtSc button to just take screenshot and directly save it. It instead opens snip and sketch tool which just copies the image to clipboard and not actually save it and i have to do it manually. Its the only problem with this laptop otherwise its a masterpiece is every category

9:54 It's only available in 8GB, not 16GB, plus it can't be upgraded and that's the biggest con of this laptop. Windows today needs at least 16GB RAM. Spend 3K more and go for the Mi Notebook Pro(16GB), you get a matte 2.5k IPS display, a better H series processor instead of G series, better build(it opens with a single hand, the hinge quality is really good!). Lastly, it has the golden screen ratio 16:10 compared to 3:2 in Realme Book Slim. I've been using the Mi Notebook Pro from several months and the performance and experience is flawless. The only con is the speakers...

No need of 16GB RAM for all... I have been using 4GB ram since 2 yrs 😂...and it's enough for normsl users like me .. Browsing...Excel... Movies.. but 8GB ram is ideal now..not less than that... But definitely 16GB ram is not necessary..unless u r a pro editor.. gamer...heavy software user

@@nitishgupta7426 i use lot of ram ,notepad, chorme (10tabs+ 3 tabs ) opera gx , some coding softwares , Spotify , sometimes photoshop along with premiere pro and while i use all that things I can never close chrome tabs my day starts with chrome with 10 tab and ends with 10 tabs I had 8gb stick when I built my pc than I upgraded with a 16 gb stick total 24GB ram now I am looking for a laptop that can run those things but I don't see any apu based thin and light laptop to fulfill my needs. I need a fast Thin and light business laptop

Both of them are same. If you want 16. 10 aspect ratio, you can go for Mi. I'm using since the launch. Also the Realme is good too, I choose between two because of aspect ratio and 16gigs version. Hope you find helpful

The Tiger Lake lineup is full of nice CPUs with their integrated GPUs, pretty efficient too, at 18w TDP you could play plenty of games at medium settings, though with the resolution of 720p, but that can be fixed with FSR, so it just makes it worth it.

The main drawback (sort of) of this laptop to me is the glossy screen and non upgradeable RAM, at least it should be an option to choose 8 or 16 gb of RAM. I think you said 16gb of ram (09:54) , may be a simple mistake... 😊

Seeing this video in Realmebook , but its i3 varient Your videos in 4k are pretty awersome in the 2k panel. The aspect ratio is good for all purpose other than new movies aspect ratio. lack of upgrability and worst battery life other thatn its a better allrounder. I think buying an Mi Note book instead of i5 varient of realme because of the RAM.

I wouldn't recommend buying because if you get defective product like me(i5 variant) they tossed me 1.5 months by Flipkart and realme service centre. Then with multiple request they refunded the amount.

It is a pretty good laptop with a very competitive price. Generally, I haven’t seen any laptop with 100% sRGB, loud speakers, 3:2 aspect ratio with nice build quality in under 50k (for i3 variant). I would rate it 9/10 easily 😏

You can get rtx 4090 with linux and still not play games because of os limitations.

9:53 it's a 8gb RAM using this for 14 months, so for so good I faced an issue with the hing and the service center guys could solve this during my warranty period when i approached them, so be careful this this.

Instead of showing the total RAM usage. Open up the process tab and see how much RAM is used by chrome. And opening up 50 tabs of Google site won't do much. The youtube tabs will slow down the process in someway.

@@pratikrai6407 I'm trying to say opening up the same websites isn't gonna do much. Opening up different kind of websites with different types of use cases will slow down the laptop. And showing the total RAM usage doesn't show the size of RAM allocated for the chrome tabs. You gotta open up the process tab in task manager to show the info. And the RAM is not upgradable. In my use case this is a BIG NO NO. And in the video it says that the RAM is 16GB (in the teardown section), When it's actually 8GB.

chrome uses this technique where it holds certain part of ram to hold certain tab, but when it's not in use it doesn't uses that part of ram for that time and as soon as you jump back it'll start using that part... so it's not a laptop feature it's chrome's good optimization....

I don't think the tab opening and load test is correct. You can open even more tabs, windows will stop the earlier tabs running and reload them when you open them. The prob is what n you don't want those reloads coz it's time. For me thar matters and that is where I need min 16 gb of ram
