Fun fact. The samurai had rarely used the katana. In fact they had used long range weapons like bows guns and spears. They only used katanas when they were in a life or death situation for close combat, otherwise the katana was rarely used. 👇

Oh my fucking god. THERE ARE NO MORE SAMURAI. Feudalism no longer exists and you can't just "become a samurai " there were rare cases but typically you had to be born into a Samurai bloodline. Samurai is a socio-political status not just a military one. A samurai is a vassal that serves a daimyo" just playing pretend with swords for a few hours doing really easy soft training doesn't make you a samurai or even a good martial artist
