I did just record a video on the questions you should ask on the discovery call, but we also have the deepest course on this topic since both David and I sold millions of dollars or products and services before we launched our SMMA. Questions to ask video will be live soon, but if you want complete training on smma sales, I'd recommend checking out the smma blueprint and focus on sales as a new skill to develop. Read books...I really enjoyed Zero Resistance Selling, and nothing beats picking up the phone and making attempts/optimizing your pitch.

Just got into my research on SMMA back in January at the start of the year and I can confidently say this channel provides the best content and info regarding SMMA. They are both profitable niches. I would combine Google ads with FB ads. Google you're going to capture the "need it now" type people who are directly searching for roofing and flooring contractors, facebook you can target home owners who you think may be interested and if you can put a compelling offer in front of them, they will take action.

Hi Markel, you'll certainly need to pay taxes on income earned through SMMA, or any online business you start. You can get started by registering your business as a sole proprietor. Check the laws in your country or state. For example, one of our 15 year old students at The SMMA Blueprint needed to legally have his parents co-sign on contracts closed with clients for his SMMA. Each state or country will have different limitations, but it's totally possible to make it happen.

Without know much here it's tough to say for certain, but it usually comes down to your message, outreach method, and how you're presenting it. How are you reaching out to business owners? Think about it from their perspective, if a random person sent them a note, what would get them to take action. Usually people starting out make common mistakes like copy and pasting every message with zero personalization, DMing people when their profiles look like trash, emailing professional business owners with free gmail email accounts. I can't really give you direct feedback without knowing more, but that's where most people mess it up out the gate. Good question. If you work with general practice attorneys, simply ask them what areas of law they would like to see more of, what cases/clients are most profitable for them, then build your campaign around that. There's general practice attorneys here too and that's what I did.

So the discovery call is basically your first conversation with the prospect. This is where you identify their goals, missing services in their strategy, and overall learn more about their business. As far as personal email, that is a big no-no. Potential clients will see this as a red flag, and will come across amateur/unprofessional. Thank for engaging and supporting the channel!

Absolutely, we actually had a 15 year old student in the SMMA Blueprint course, close a deal in the first week. He legally had to have his parents sign the contract with the business, but either way it's possible. I'm not going to say there wont be challenges regarding your age, but I would look at it as an advantage, since you've grown up with social media, and most likely have a better handle on it than most business owners out there.
