3:34:00. Id be suspicious of Ethan too if I was that cop. Think about what he sees. A run down horder house, and ethan running around with a massive hand cannon and a circular saw. He's the real threat in that house. At that point the baker family is trying to survive him...especially since Ethan has the defense coin.

The more I think about it, the more I think that Survivor and Dead Aim should be remade as VR games in the vein of Half-Life Alyx. You could probably mod Half-Life Alyx for that as it is.

in regards to the talk of dead rising remastered remaster I am super disappointed we are at the point of remastering remasters. I think its a really shit precedent for the triple A industry thats already taking shortcuts banking on nostalgia and surprise mechanics to sell units and make money. DR remaster remaster may well be a good game. I loved the original. But I hate what it is in a broad sense. We need more death strandings and reasonable remakes like RE2. Something either completely new or a good reason to revisit a game and handled well, respectively. My opinion.

Agreed. I don't see the point in remaking games that are still both playable, fun, and intuitive. The only remakes I like are remasters, where its literally the same as the original game, but with updated shaders and graphics. I don't see the point in changing what literally made the game likable, lovable and memorable just so they can sell it for nostalgia while trying to rope in """modern audiences""" with dumbed down controls, plots, characters, and so on. RE3R is a great example of a terrible remake. RE4R is a great example of a good remake. Spyro Trilogy Remaster is a great example of a good remaster. GTA Remaster is a good example of a bad remaster. Taste in games is like taste in anything; highly subjective. What is the point of a SH2 remake when the original is still just as playable and fun? There was nothing mechanically to fix, unlike many people who were annoyed with the shooting mechanics of OG RE4 (not being able to move while shooting) and, imo, making SH2 too pretty looking will *ruin* part of the aesthetic of the original. I suppose the older I get, the more and more I will hate these companies trying to sell me a downgraded version of my childhood and lie to my face and say it's better than the original, just because it has raytracing or chromatic aberration.

@@RedPaintSpray I agree with everything you said. You just forgot to talk about how awful the reboots are. Personally, i think the worst thing a company can sell isn't remake or remaster, but reboots. For remakes and remasters, at some point the company try to respect the original game and try to improuve it. At least they do something "similar" to the OG. But reboots ? It's basically just the company saying "Oh you liked this game ? Well fuq you ! It's not canon anymore and it doesn't exist to us. Now we redo the same story, but made poorly, and this will be the new canon." Yes they can do some good reboot, like Doom or Wolfenstein, but it's because they are so old that the story was almost non existant in those games. But now take games like Tomb Raider, like Devil May Cry, like Saints Row, ... I rather have remakes or remaster over reboots... Because a Reboot is just trying to erase what we love and enjoy to replace it with a bland generic copy of it. OG Lara Croft is a badass character afraid of nothing, who know a lot about myths and history, she is sexy, she is smart, she knows kung fu and even in the worst situation possible like fighting mercenaries she always have cool lines. Second Reboot version Lara ? Bland random teenager that spend her time crying and complaining about everything, not attractive, always too serious about anything. So not only reboots often kill the franchise, but they also kill any potential sequel since not only someone need to take back the franchise, but they will also need to reintroduce the OG story and lore after dividing the community between OG fans and "modern audience". The only exception to that being Devil May Cry V. But for everything else, i lost hope in seeing sequel from it. And it's sad.

i'm more of a five dollar footlong kind of person myself, too i started working on that game i was rambling about when you banned me from drunk chat i wasn't being toxic, i was being more like, "for real?" about things i find as not helpful, which got me on your naughty list. i was being an art critic as a crazy person. people need to be able to talk about some things beyond labeling it as, "toxic," as that's how religion's manipulations win. believe me. you're all being groomed. i hope i'm wrong. it's waxed and waned for thousands of years. nevermind they raised you guys well.
