I remember I was playing a match on that Russian map with all the trains tracks and empty train cars. I was on the Russian side while we were defending the tracks. My medic friend named, Dee, was killed in the German advance along with a sniper friend whose name I forgotwhile I hid in the train car for a bit. I worked up the courage to push out, made my way back to friendly troops after killing twenty Germans without dying, watched more of my friends get blown up in a ran down building, saw friendly tanks advance, and ultimately won the match. @@Methdemon personally I feel like the problem with augmented reality is that it will become so advanced that it could be too real. Yeah, you might not really feel anything. But if you’re in an augmented reality war for so long I feel like the sound alone could do some damage to your mental state. If trauma isn’t the correct word to use, then desensitization definitely is.

The last time I played this game I played around 40 hours in a single week and it all ended with a guy running around yelling racial and orientation-based slurs at us while team killing us. Half of our team decided to stop playing the game and hunt him down until all he could do was spawn at one of our spawns where a firing squad would immediately gun him down. Needless to say my fun meter was empty and I stopped cold turkey. This video came out just 2 days ago and reminded me of why I love playing this game, the teamwork and camaraderie was excellent. Great video. Maybe I'll try it out again!

PC or Xbox? Xbox does not have pub servers with admins (or rules), on pc make sure you dont use the official servers. Teamkiller trols like these tend to get banned from pub servers with admins. Play on these serves and you rarely get into any kind of problems.

My issue with this game is how easy it is to unlock everything and how it just feels like BF2 forgotten hope. I know it’s supposed to be super realistic so dumb unlocks wouldn’t be realistic but if you look at all the random weapons used in world war 2 they could easily have have 50 of weapon unlocks for either side and still be realistic. Like let me use Czech guns as the Germans, and let me have browning hi powers and shit like that. It’d make me come back to the game cuz my dumb lizard brain needs stuff to grind for

Third - When I was a child, around 10-16yo, I used to play shooter games the same way you do in this video! I LOVED completely immersing myself and doing no-death runs in old single player games. I remember in the golden age of Post Scriptum, when you had a squad leader who knew exactly what he was doing, and squadmates who all listened and had microphones, it wasn't unusual to be able to survive an entire match. When all of the squads in a server are doing what they are supposed to engagement ranges tend to push all the way out to 300m, and people win by making guys not want to go into certain areas rather than actually needing to kill all of the enemy.

The way people fight when there's a challenge like this is pretty intense. I really miss those 90 minute long single-life events they used to hold in Darkest Hour for Red Orchestra. Never gotten gameplay like it since, where people actually priotize taking cover over getting kills. It plays so realistically... though many won't like that because sometimes it does involve sitting in a ditch for 45 minutes.
