Talon was already really good. The only issues where the way people played him... they're too used to randomly all in people and get a kill.. Talon is all about timing... the buffs kind of ruined him because now he is just a braindead spam champion and requires 0 brains to pilot. The kind of players riot love to boost and reward, the buffs to Talon are a perfect example of riot being clueless and proactively destroying the game

Still troll champ, people don't know how to play, just spam skill, and for objective like dragon Etc still suck, Very slow deal objectives and Can't fight for long (very common during objective war Its long fight)

Tips : never initiate with first skill unless you are chasing someone down and use it to gap close... use second skill into first skill, this way your next basic attack procs the bleed... Unlike other assasins, its good for him to be seen, example... let the enemy see you pushing a lane, by the time they rotate to defend the turret you can literally be on the opposite side of map with your team... tp split pushing works a treat 😉 Ps.. dont just tap his third ability, aim it, it can make a huge difference in fights

It's because ranked is full of kids with adhd that just spam every button and hope something happens. The second it doesn't they flame jungle and spam ff.. riot is the issue here, not Talon or unsupervised children exploiting the game, the devs themselves create issues and then make them worse... Talon was a great champion... now he is just a braindead button spam champion.. rip

Triumph is x10 better than gathering storm for Talon. Gathering storm doesnt really do anything for him... he doesnt lack damage, he lacks survivability... other than running away with 3rd ability, he has no hope of suviving a team fight unless the entire enemy dies, so its important to use the runes wisely... he isnt katarina, he isnt kayn, he is a mobile assasin who needs to be alive and mobile across the map... max damage doesnt help him achieve this in any way, i prefer nullifying orb, bone plating and overgrowth with vamp boots... this rune setup makes his 3rd ability a game changer, rather than just a last hope hail mary

I still feel that despite the hotfix, Talon is a draft specific champ. If you do not have teammates who can clean up incase your combo is interrupted or messed up, there's no point.

Talon is still a champion that has to commit his ulti and a full rotation to one-shot a single enemy carry; also Crown and Edge of Night are a huge problem for his one-shot potential and often force him to trade safety (Stasis, Qss) for Protobelt to proc those.

I feel like his ability to wall jump isn’t as impactful on WR as it is in lol because the map is inherently smaller. Especially late game when teams begin to huddle up and don’t spread out as much

HELLS I LOVE YOU BUT YOU NEED TO STOP WASTING TALON'S ULT BRO. HAHA Trust fam, you'll be doing way more damage if you stop enganging with your ult, but actually saving it last. What I found effective, is that you wanna engage with W, and then immediately use Q, and as your leaping over with Q, immediately use ult, which will then apply 3 stacks to your opponent and the auto attack that comes right after your Q lands will proc your passive. It's a really quick and deadly combo. You'll proc your passive almost all the time, and you'll be invisible at the end of it all, leaving you to choose whether you wanna get out or finish the fight. I only ever engage with my ult if I need further movement speed to chase a low hp enemy down. I'm pretty sure you already know this, so just STOP ENGAGING WITH ULT, YOUR WASTING A TON OF YOUR DMG.
