It has not been all that long ago that $20 would be an average to high priced buffet in Vegas. What I really miss are the super cheap buffets and other meals from the old days. Vegas used to be known for being an extremely cheap place to vacation. I remember buffets for $3.99, steak dinners for $5.99, 25 cent craps tables with 100 times odds. All right in the center of the strip.

The buffet was one of the nastiest I've ever eaten out in my entire life. All the fruit was stale the orange juice was extremely thick as if it was rotted out or just expired coming from an old machine we ended up getting our money back after not eating anything we picked out on our plate

Now we're talking! $17 Breakfast buffet! I refuse to pay the outrageous prices of the buffets. I couldn't eat enough to justify the price. I'm happy to get a coffee and a Danish. roll. It's easy to find a place for lunch and dinner that gets me full and doesn't break the bank. Last time I was in Vegas in the 80's, the Buffet ran around $15.

Please note: Buffet is closed till weekends… visited on a Thursday and it was closed till Friday-Sunday. So, we tried to eat at Sid’s Cafe, but the wait and the service was s-l-o-w. We paid for coffee and left; got a breakfast sandwich at Fortuna instead. Visited on July 14, 2022.

Hi Ruby and Mr Ruby, Honestly that is a nice looking buffet and for the money it offer a lot of variety. The quality of the food looked good to. The omelette bar is definitely a plus to any breakfast buffet it is always in my opinion says fresh. Look for a variety of food that large in LV $17 bucks is a deal! I enjoy visiting Las Vegas vicariously with you and Mr. Ruby. My favorite Las Vegas couple. If possible could you both do room service to see how long delivery takes and is the food still hot, warm, cool or cold on delivery. Also how tasty is the room service food? when i am at a breakfast buffet and there is an omelette station id ask them to please make scrambeled eggs at the omlette station and they usually do and that is how you get fresh scrambeled eggs avoiding mass produced eggs

Thank you for that review! I've been looking for a good buffet. I don't wanna pay those outrageous prices (I like basic fare, not those exotic foods), and the other "cheap" buffet I had was at the Luxor, which was quite dissatisfying. This looks like a great choice! I've seen no other reviews of this by the other vlogs I follow. Ruby, as usual, your recommendations ate the best in the business!

I worked there early on when the Westgate took over. I am going have to give it a try now because when I was there the EDR was wretched! You had a choice between the Red, the Brown or the Green. So it is nice to see the buffet has been revamped.

Looks good. I always avoid the "vat of eggs" when i have breakfast at hotels or buffets. The make to order omelet station employees have always been kind enough to scramble a couple fresh eggs for me if I ask. I like adding Spinach. :)

That looked good. Went to the Palms buffet for brunch this past Wednesday, and wasn't impressed with the selection. All the foods I did pick tasted delicious though. But I thought the selection was a bit too small. But price matched the food on offer.

Thank you Ruby for the review. I feel same as you with dessert. My self I generally do not eat dessert because it was not an automatic thing I grew up on. Not saying I don't care for it. But I do like a good creme burlie. This is something I may have on a rare occasion being very rich. I like the idea of the meat selections. And every thing looks very fresh and not sitting for long periods of time. All though I would not eat here that much because of the expense. But it would be one I would consider if was a special occasion. Or had company in from out of town. I always enjoy your reviews.

The Wild Fire little restaurant on Sunset by Stations casino has really good food and so cheap too. You should give it a try. They have breakfast all day for like $6.99 and a burger is $9.99. I know you will love it.

With the prices of a meal on the strip, one plate at that buffet is already $15 so eat more plates to get your money's worth. However, the idea is not to calculate so that you may eat your money's worth. It is a dangerous game to play if you go that route. Best to focus on the food and your enjoyment of eating such food.

Was there In the Spring ate there twice for breakfast. It was worth it ! My omelette was good.I got a few items from the fruit salad station as well.It was very clean and the staff was attentive.

I learned not to eat at any buffet for any meal, all it does is put me to sleep, I go to Vegas to have fun, gamble a little, make some sports bets, go to sporting events, and of course shows. I want a 14-plus-hour day with 2 hours of pool time. I found a small breakfast, a small lunch, and a good hardy dinner with a few snacks and lots of water helps me through a 3 to 4-day visit it Vegas. I still remember going to a buffet back in the 80s for a lunch and going back to the room and I woke up at 10pm, I said I would never let that happen again.

Do you get Reward cards at every hotel/casino to use for gambling, discounts, etc? If the different hotels are owned by the same company, like MGM, does one Reward card work for all owned by that company? Vegas in 2 weeks! Binge watching Ruby!

I try and get rewards at each property but all Caesars and all MGM properties use there same rewards systems so mostly you will need two cards
