I used these markers for quite a while, besides the weird "brush" nib being hard, the nibs on mine didn't fray or break. From what I heard they updated these markers so idk if mine are the updated version..

I use the artist loft so that I can get some techniques down and how to blend, then when I feel comfortable with alcohol based markers I’ll start buying the more professional ones

So, I believe these markers are terrible. This is from my experience with them, so I don't know if yours was much better as it seems one of your bigger problems was the color. So, my brush nibs frayed alot. When I mean a lot I mean A LOT. Also, they ran out of ink relatively fast and I couldn't find refills. It's not much but it absolutely drives me crazy when I expect a nice, good quality marker and get a peice of plastic that is falling apart at the seams.

I tried the markers and the brush tip did not break or turn into a *brush* and it blends ok

I know this video is a year old. I have these markers and just had to toss all of them. The nibs mutated into something I can't explain! Are yours still okay? I bought mine directly from Michaels.
