We had this game as kids and the most difficult and heartbreaking thing about this game is that if you quit the game without saving it deletes your entire game file. Imagine someone in your family forgetting to save and losing all your progress. This game almost made us all insane.

Yeah, the castle is very hard and annoying to navigate in. The Bowser battle's quite challenging as well and it's so hard to get accurate shots at. I think Mario Pinball land is overhated tho, the mechanics themselves were quite neat and if the annoying parts weren't there it would have had a lot of potential if you ask me.

Man, I remember playing this game ages ago. I wanted to like it as I enjoy Mario and pinball, so it seemed a natural fit. Boy, was I wrong! This game is a complete exercise in frustration! The pinball physics are so horribly wonky that it just makes it a chore to play. Pokémon and Kirby got pinball right, but Mario just completely missed the mark!
