Honestly this mode would be perfectly balanced with instant respawn, the trek back is functionally a spawn timer. They’d need to tweak Mercy’s resurrect to make it work tho, so I can see why they didn’t

The people that call this 2cp 2.0 don't understand what 2cp was or what was wrong with it. This mode fixes 2cp while rewarding team play and flanks. Only issue is timer perce Tage on points may go up a tad too fast.

People say this about push. What people dont understand is selecting a good part of the map to regroup in. The whole team. You can tell the noobs who never once regroup in push so the whole map is a steamroll, until final stretch because they have been forced to regroup. If you walked 150m, whole team was with you, and you all died, then you got beat, fair and square.

It certainly was a bold choice to see people complain about how much walking/downtime could happen in Push and think "We can make them walk even more". I don't think the mode is bad, but it certainly seems like it could be tedious at times.

While i like the mode, it's really punishing to die with the long respawn time plus walking back to the objective. It feels like you need a movement ability to be effective. However the mode is pretty fun, and chances are things will become manageable as we get more familiar with the maps. Also, hands down they're the prettiest maps in the game for me. New Junk City just looks so cool

Out of 3 games I have played my second one was one of the best matches of my OW career where on the last point we were able to take the point back and then had fantastic close fights until we came back from the 0-2 and won. I was using Illaris and i have to say headshots (like kiriko) sre a little op

I played 10 games last night and lost every one against GM’s literally all night lol. Idk what’s wrong with OW2’s match making but every game is so unbalanced for me. I’m masters and I have gold players on my team and they’ll have 2-3 GM’s and Diamond-master for the rest. But this season looks great I was just having a rough opening night lol.

I love this new mode, it feels fun, and for a doom player like me, it’s pretty easy to go from point to point with my duo, and the rest of the team typically plays higher mobility heroes so they get there pretty fast as well. Overall I don’t have complaints about this mode other than the capture percentage being a bit too fast for my liking.

I don't like flash point for 2 main reasons. 1. I'm all for more Game mode, but why not focus on the other game mode they have push. We still only have the same 3 maps we had At launch. 2. This is just 2PC on steroids. Why not make the 2PC maps into these Or do something with them other than just leaving them on the shelf.

Knowing nothing about what this mode is, having only touched Overwatch maybe like.... 3-5 times in the last 12-ish months or so - and being 44 seconds into this video. I'm going to guess this new mode is your typical domination-style mode. hold objectives. get points for holding objectives. more objectives = more points over time.

People should he complaining about the elimination glitch, getting kills you didnt even get, thats what assists are for unless its now counting assists as eliminations, in that case its fucking stupid

What glitch? Only some kinds of attacks count as assists, and I think they can count as both elimination and assist at the same time. A helix rocket won't be an assist, he'll only get elimination. But a Moira damage orb can get both elimination and assist, I think.

@@skarloeythomas5172 an assist isn't the same as a kill, being the cause of a death and being the one responsible are two Seperate things if someone dies becuase you held them down then you were the reason they died but you did not kill them, and this hurts the game becuase now we can't tell who is skilled and puts in the work to kill someone over someone who randomly gets hooked gets killed during the hook before the hog ever let's off a shot and that hog gets a kill and a assist, damage orb gets kills because it drained the life out of someone or it drained someone's health down for another player to finish off that's an assist and if your saying an assist should br thr same as getting a kill i hope your kd ratio feels like shit when you find out you only killed the teabagging SOMBRA 3 times whrn your score board says 17 times

They just discriminate killstreaks from kill participation. Call of Duty doesn't work like this, and you need the killing blow for a kill to be logged, not assist.

this game mode is trash the control point are waaay too small, the maps are convoluted as fuck its almost impossible to do a retake. At best its good for deathmatch but since the heroes in ow 2 have so many complicated abilities, it becomes a nightmare. So confusing. Total trash
