I went to the Rio buffet in 2018, from what I can remember, it went through some changes before it closed. The one time I ate there, I was not impressed at all, being it in Las Vegas & should have been top tier if it's in a casino, but what I saw looked like your average Hometown Buffet with the color plates chipped edges, messy buffet, hardly anyone was there for dinner the day I was there, and something I have never seen before was you pay a different pricing for the seafood despite it being in the name, and a employee is in the buffet but to the right where all the seafood is and checking your wrist stamp under UV light each time you get more. They do that so to keep out people who didn't pay extra for lame ass tiny lobster. The service was bad. It was below quality of a Golden Corral & it was one of those situations where you know there's no point in getting dessert, it's just soft serve & cookies that's not even freshly made but hard store bought.

Thanks for reviewing Dan. Can't wait to watch part 2. The World Buffet at Rio was our fav buffet. Sorry it's gone. Don't drink much soda now but we preferred Mexican coke too. They use good old fashioned sugar in their recipe.

I like both. When I want quality I'd choose a good buffet. I used to go to Spice Market buffet at Aladdin. And Paris. Both closed. Been to Wynn and Bacchanal. Next i want to try Palms Wednesday or Thursday lobster. That's a steal and worth an Uber ride from the strip. I like Peruvian coke vs. Mexican coke.

I love the sushi combos but I think we covering up the delicacy of the fish too often. So much so that the fish could be any protein as you can’t really taste the fish once you started throwing too many additives to it

Zero value. Sushi was not fresh. Tenders basic. Smash burger looked good but again no value to pull people in. Competition across the street 65 bucks ayce lobster. Damn Rio.
