I don’t understand the combat…you have deathshot, who could be your sniper and has vertical mobility, you have king shark, who could be your tank and be primarily melee, you have Captain boomerang, who is given moments of super speed and medium range with his boomerangs, and Harley Quinn, who can switch between melee with her bat and farther range with her gun. Batman as the Squad's "Justice League insider" works so much better: First off, he's Batman, the guy with a plan to neutralize every single ally he has, just in case, and sharing the plan would explain why the Squad doesn't get obliterated by the various heroes immediately. Secondly, it makes no sense for Brainiac to be able to take over his mind right off the bat, a major part of his character is his mental fortitude, which is already demonstrated in the Arkham universe this is set in. And lastly, he would be such a high priority target for Brainiac that he would be willing to rely upon the Squad to carry out his plans to save the world while he's forced to remain in hiding to avoid total catastrophe if he got caught.

So that we can keep the initial encounter with batman, and so it can be confirmed that the only way to save the world is by killing the justice league. My main complaint with the story is that the ending is pessimistic and the actual death part of the justice league fights weren't handled well. The villains killing the heroes were pretty much having a blast, or just doing their job at best, not the most respectful way to handle such a tragic loss (especially since one was KEVIN). Compare this to god of war 2018 (spoiler alert) When Kratos kills Baldur he's actually remorseful about it, as he knows the ramifications and how it will affect the people he is close to. The suicide squad don't care a bit about the justice League, imagine if boomerang had actually felt disappointed after flash's death, or Harley had apologised after shooting batman, or anything like that. They killed off these beloved characters and the pov characters aren't that bothered.

What this game is missing from the Arkham games is the weight of the world and variety of gameplay. In Arkham City, when Protocol 10 begins, the helicopters are a big threat and you feel slightly small compared to them. When Batman hooks up to them, seizes the codes, then gets to the center of it all - you feel badass because the WEIGHT of the situation made you EARN those codes through the gameplay. Here, you just shoot at stuff until it dies and that's literally it. There is no stealth, there is no being smart, there is no outmaneuvering the enemy, you just point and shoot at something until it dies.

For those who have no clue what I'm talking about, Earth 3 is the titular good guys-bad guys reversal in that this universe's equivalent to the Justice League and other heroes are evil, with the same going for its equivalents to our villains (Joker=Jokester; Cheetah=Lion-Miss; Gentleman Ghost=Pinkerton Ghost). Heck, it would've been interesting to play the villains of that world - or at least give the option of playing one of the sides in the playthrough

Like, I was screaming with excitement during the part of Spiderman 2 where we got to play as Venom - and was saddened when I found out it was just for that part. But imagine a game where you get to play you're own symbiote - choose its aesthetic(s), gain abilities, and maybe have a feature where you can change hosts and take over npcs (similar to how in Watchdogs Legion allowed you to enlist anyone to your side, including grandmas and such)

Literally no piece of info from that panel is correct either. 1) They didn't fix lagging technology. Their technology is shit, and they only get away with it because they have magic, but also because they don't have 1/10th of the problems regular people have, a.k.a diseases, age, wounds, etc. Every little piece of advancement and technology they have comes from the "Magic Sphere" that they didn't even built. Without it, they would be lucky to be able to make a coffee machine. 2) They didn't fix broken democracy. They have a monarchy. A.k.a, one family line rules eternally, the "common folk" have no voice, and I will let you guess what happens if anyone badmouths the queen, or tries a rebellion. 3) Technically they fixed 'toxic masculinity', by simply having no males. But it's funny that Luthor a few lines below says that they have "no cruelty", when we know exactly *what* happens to the males who fall on the island. There is *NO* iteration where whatever happens to them *isn't* cruel. Lex calls them a "golden society", when they *aren't* even self-sufficient. Without males from outside, they don't reproduce. If one of them falls in battle, they can't be replaced. A decline of 1 in 1m million years is still a decline, and eventually Themyscira is going to be extinct solely on these basis.

Every single person that worked on SSKTJL never worked on any Arkham Game ever and were all new hires rated by their diversity points over knowledge and ability. I saw an idea about the new Suicide Squad game, and it sounds better than what we actually got. The guy said that they should have had Batman be the only Justice League member that wasn’t mind controlled, and you have to play as him and try to save the others and fight Braniac. Then, the Suicide Squad would be secondary antagonists, where you have to stop them from killing the Justice League. I don’t know why Rocksteady didn’t do this. It would have been an epic swan song for Kevin Conroy.

So the reason they picked WW as the Last Survivor is because they wanted to give her a 'noble sacrifice' moment because 'girlboss'. Think about it like this. Flash's corpse is nearly peed on. Jon is reduced to his boxers. Batman is taunted by the person HE'S TRIED TO HELP SEVERAL TIME BY GOING EASY ON HER. And Superman dies with a whimper. All the male heroes are treated like trash, especially Batman. Harley should have been upset she had to kill Bruce because now that the Joker is gone she understands what Bats was trying to do for her. He should have fought the control, told Harley to kill him. But no, we need the 'rich guy who beats up poor people' (a real dev quote btw) to be the butt of a bad joke. WW is given a heroic death, no one laughs or takes a trophy or does anything messed up to her. Nope, instead they all have a nice little cry over her.
