Your interaction with bike shop owner-san was so, so nice. He was very helpful, always smiling, making light joke and being honest about how new moped-san motor is and the low chance of it burning out. I wish all motor shop owners were this gentle and helpful. Very nice!

Thanks! To assist with the oil change: Happy Friday:) Nice Sticker.I suggest on your next oil change you inquire as to the cost of an extra belt. Which likely is not large and you may carry for the moped in your storage locker. That way even if you are out in BFE you would have a spare part with you. Just an idea. Back ups are always nice to have. My KZbin channel Beard Loves dog is doing well 1509 subscribers now. I learn so much from you and thank you for explaining many times how you do stuff. Let's GO!!!

Moped-san's "engine belt" is likely the CVT belt.. Not an expensive part but a pain to replace. It will break sometime going uphill because of the weight. Probably Moped-san's weakest component because Yamaha makes great engines and that 4 stroke 50cc will run forever if you take care of it.

You really need a windbreaker jacket with a fleece liner in the coming winter... no cotton or leather! The cold wind is what cools your body temp, so you need 'plastic' to block the wind to prevent the loss of your body heat. Also get those handlebar mits that you can slide your hand into and then wrap those with plastic bags . Better than any glove you can buy!

It's amazing how cultural indoctrination can really affect one's viewpoint on situations. When you were leaving the bike repair place, I was waiting for the part where you gave him a tip. However, I then remembered that tipping is not viewed the same way in Japan as it is in the United States. We seem to be heavily pushed to tip for just about anything these days over here. It has almost de-valued what tipping was designed for, which was giving due to receiving above and beyond services. Now, even automated machines ask for a tip lol
