I work on a covid unit and we have these Velcro face shields and I had to explain to my manager why I was wearing a scarf on my hair bc it kept ripping my hair out every time I would put it on. She was confused bc her hair never got caught in the straps🙄 this is why we need more black nurses and people in administrative positions.

Hi Amber! I hope you try them again since you have them. This are NOT supposed to be used with heat, also you’re supposed to twist and wrap the hair around the curler. I saw a girl do that and tried it and my opinion totally changed! Much love from Boston ❤️

Hello Lovely Amber. The rollers could possibly work if you rolled 1 inch sections which would require a lot more rollers for your hair.

Heyyy! I’ve used these before (a cheaper version and without the velcro) and they do work ! You just have to do smaller sections and use them as you would do with perm rods. That means you would wrap them tighter on the root, and girlllllll.. your hair will come out so soft and curled! Trust me!! 💫

Wrap your sections of hair using a t-shirt/sheet type material 1st then roll tighter Velcro caving down.

I used to hate these and felt like I wasted even though I bought them at TJ Maxx for 15 dollars but I learned how to make them work. You should put a leave in cream and then you have to twist the hair as you wrap it around the curler. But I don’t think it would work for you since your hair is so thick and very curly, love your hair by the way ❤️

@@mosunshine9265 I didn't feel they were uncomfortable when I slept with them. Just add a head cover so they don't move around or come out while you are sleeping. You can also buy a memory foam pillow, so it forms to your head... and rollers.

I tried the sleep styler rollers before too... AND they did not work for me either. I got a pack of the big ones like you did and my hair came out big and poofy with no shape. They also were a nightmare to sleep in, got zero sleep that night 😩😲😴😣🤬
