I tried this challenge myself, and I found a way to get past the tutorial without using the bow for the skeletons. If you press pause you can leave the tutorial. Then go to creeper woods and unlock the Crypt. Then, go to the Crypt and farm chests until you get an armor with thorns or snowball. Then go back to the tutorial and use the enchants to kill the skeletons. Now you have ascended challenge mode.

In the early days of Diablo II, one player on their official forums would RP different characters that used under-powered skills that the community unanimously agreed were utterly useless. To top things off, he did it on hardcore and documented the progress on the forums. It was rather remarkable when he beat the game and as a result he had a large following.

By the way, the cowardice enchantment actually makes you do 2 damage with your fists instead of one when you are at full health, even though the power boost is only 40%.

Nuzlock challenge for mc dungeons. Can only use 1 type of weapon for a mission and switch if you die or win(axe for one mission and a short bow for another then a sword for another one) I would do this but i have no way to record/stream my switch and i don’t have a windows computer EDIT: you can also do artifacts for a harder challenge too

Fun exploration of a new play style. This reminds me of "Blaster Quake" where you try to beat Quake 2 with nothing but the blaster. I loved that game so much, but I wanted to explore it in a new way. I bet that's how speedrunning started... Now we just need to see who can set the speedrunning record for Minecraft Dungeons No Weapons Run.

The love medallions will be super powerful when you unlock them. Also noteworthy: -The wind horn causes an attack speed slow that stacks with slows from other sources, onto all enemies in its radius, which can be useful for getting tons of extra hits in on a slow-attacking boss. -The weakness medalion (which is gated to harder difficulties/levels) multiplies your damage against effected enemies by 3

I think I unlocked the wandering trader and bought the boots of swiftness from him. I love the short cooldown they have. Especially when backtracking thru previously explored areas. Really speeds up the levels.

I might have another chalenge if you are interessted. a dungeons Nuzlocke challenge, where you can only pick up the first melee and ranged weapon, armour and artifact per level. I have no idea if it is fun, I heard of it, it's a pokemon chalenge, but it is probably possible for dungeons to.

This isn't the kind of video I was expecting from Pixlriffs, but I love it anyways! Very fun concept, but I can see how it would be super grindy to beat later levels. If I get Minecraft Dungeons maybe I'll try this out myself, just with slightly less strict limitations on offensive enchants and artifacts.

I have some other ideas for limited gear runs, like a 'Steve' run where you can only use gear available in Minecraft itself - swords, axes, bows, fireworks, etc - but none of the Dungeons-specific weapons like glaives and daggers and whatnot. Also you're only allowed to use enchantments that exist in Minecraft, like Looting and Smite :)

I would do this but one caveat: if you can get specifically the melee weapon family gauntlets, you ware allowed to do use it. It's still punching people.

If you went all the way to apocalypse difficulty, you could get the gauntlets/fighters bindings since that weapon is basically your fists so it wouldn't really count as a weapon.

You can definitely wear down the red stone golem with fist. It has an attack pattern where it would first plant the red stone bombs and stay still for several seconds. Then you just run around those lava lake so that the red stone bomb expired and repeat the process. If you are lucky enough and careful enough, you should be able to kill the golem. And the red stone monstrosity should be even straight forward. Simply use the exploding pillar. They deal tons of damage.

It's actually possible to finish the tutorial without using any weapons, but you'll need RNG to get two TNT for the two skeletons. Actually, you can just exit the tutorial.

Use 3 enchanted wheat and have tumble bee on your armour, do this but with a dupe enchantment with tumble bee, and do that with four friends, that is something i always wanted to try
