See this is why you should show people like this. It gives the players a heads up on who they are dealing with and players can take action. They will only like the spot light for the short term. Once enough people know them they wont make it thru another race. Just keep raising the awareness of people like this. Then send em to the shadow realm every race. When everyone in the race does it to them they will get tired of it.

When sport has race A with no DR updates but SR updates, you can just ride in the back cleanly and boost your SR. So when he drops he can get it back up quickly by doing virtually nothing and no effect to DR

Not sure how it would work but can you back out of a lobby once you see who is in it? Back in the day in other games if we saw a troll in the lobby we would bail and join another one. Eventually, the troll either got the message and quit or at minimum changed their name and didn't behave badly anymore. I don't play GT7 so I honestly have no clue how the lobby system works. If it doesn't work that way then my bad for a crap idea.

Okay hear me out. Instead of giving out penalties, GT should just make both players a little slower after contact occurred. Yes, this will also hurt players who do not feel at fault. But here is what you want: it completely disincentives any malicious driving. Because if you were to hit someone, intentional or not, it just invited everybody from behind into the competition, which nobody wants
