you should look up some Art Deco homes from Belgium and try to recreate / be inspired by one :) combine it with a modern or contemporary style (DHD pack comes to mind) and I think you would nail it ! looking forward to more builds :)

It would be funny if people go visit my country Jamaica 🇯🇲 and look at how British and Chinese homes and school was for ideas because us Jamaicans are mixed sence slavery and mixed with Irish and British and Chinese and Scottish and we have schools that has school uniforms except they looked ugly and plain . They more look British mixed African and I am born and live in America but some family are born and from Jamaica and I don’t like the uniform style . If you see how our schools behave and teach and how we eat food you’ll see our schools are very different than countries like Asia right now and they England and America and Australia and more . Maybe try to build our Jamaican school

This is so cute! The exterior reminds me of a cute little shop. Once the pack comes out I definitely want to turn the downstairs into a bakery and the upstairs into a little apartment.

@@dankejuseyo I believe with the get to work pack you can run your own business. When your sims ready to run the bakery you would just open the shop, and lock the door to the upstairs so sims don’t go up there. When your not running the bakery you just close it and it can function as a normal lot.

would’ve been cool to do an art deco style theatre- turned home. as of the sim bought an old stage theatre and renovated to live in it! the layout could’ve had different platform levels and could’ve been fun!

That was a pretty cool build. It looks like an old theatre or something that got renovated more than it does a newly renovated house. Very cool! Definitely can’t wait for the pack to come out! Thanks for the inspo.

We emigrated to Australia in 1989 when I was 12. Our first house in Sydney was almost entirely painted inside in that initial pink colour! Took me back. OMG the kitchen was that green and the bathroom was green and black Art Deco tiles. Back living in Northern Ireland unfortunately.

The build matches the area very well I'd say. It does look like it could be a shop like the other buildings so in many ways it just blends in.

I love this build, but would love for you to reno it once you have all packs (Dream home decorator, Maximalist kit, and the nice art deco vibes of realm of magic would be awesome here)

I agree with you, but RoM is much more art nouveau. Art Nouveau emphasizes natural shapes and fluidity, while Art Deco emphasizes strong lines and geometric shapes. It *can* mix well with Art Deco, but it's pretty different. Still! I think your suggestions, but especially Decor to the Max would look so good.

If you think a heritage home is bad, I worked in the first ever Lush store in Poole, Dorset, UK. The property was listed (I think it was built early 1800's) so everything we did had to be approved, even changing the doors for fire doors!! This little build reminds me of lots of the blocks of flat round here that all seem to have that art deco/seaside vibe

This is a gorgeous build, Deli! Do you plan on renovating the kitchen when you have all the packs? Though I think that would be a really short video! If you do though, please add a toilet to the ground floor bathroom, and reduce the half wall height on the right side of the building, as they're not even.

I love it! I'm impatient to get the expansion pack and do art deco builds. The university I attended, as well as its whole neighborhood, is art deco and so I have ideas for houses and apartment buildings and university/highschool... I just wish I had as much talent as you do.
