3:07 if it was a caught Pokémon, you would get a message saying you can’t berry it. This shows that your berry was successfully used so it wasn’t caught. Also, when in catch mode, the plus stops its automatic catching. It will only spin stops

Unless something has changed it will only spin a stop when in a catch encounter if the stop was noticed before starting the catch encounter, but it will not spin any more stops until the catch encounter ends.

If the Go+ has already caught/attempted to catch a Pokemon and you try to catch it manually, if you give it a berry and you don't get an error, you are good to go. If the Go+ has already tried, you will get an error when you try to give it a berry.

If you lose a shiny, it shows on the journal as a non-shiny. It was like that for the past years.

just throwing this out there- i accidentally gotcha'ed a galarian articuno while running my daily incesnse the other day. i saw it, and i clicked on it, and tried to use a golden raspberry, but it wouldn't let me, and when i tossed the ultra ball, it ran, but it showed it as caught in the inventory in a pokeball.

if the pokemon consumes the berry, it jus means the go plus did not lock on that pokemon. so in future, jus feed the pokemon berry to know if the go plus has gotten to it first.

My play day was Friday morning. I saw a handful of KZbinrs from afar as I did the park grind. Didn't have time to stand in line for anything, my focus was on getting specific shinies and/or hundos, which I have to say was very underwhelming for park play. City Experience was a totally different story, though! But anyway, I wish I had met you then. I had on my fave Prince t-shirt for luck and I know you're a fan of him, too.
