This was a lot of fun! Would love to see this again, but next time add a few restrictions to the communicator. For example the communicator isn't allowed to say exact piece lengths. No more "2 blocks, 15 blocks, ext." Making the communicator use stuff like about 1/3s the length of the body, or double the height of your character. That way the final results will be different for a hilarious end. The point of telephone is to see how communication can distort the original. I was so excited in the beginning when ScrapMan was making the plus the wrong way. That's how things should go :P
@seanroberts40112 жыл бұрын
Usually Telephone is played with more people, so the messages get more distorted with each retelling. But this is fun, too. :)
@nessa68592 жыл бұрын
@@seanroberts4011 You're right it's obviously a spin on telephone. But at some points it just sounded like an instruction manual. Most people can follow 5 food wood blocks , place the cockpit 2 blocks back and its this many long. It'd be more interesting and chaotic if they had to use descriptions instead of instructions.

@@m.h.6470 I think by "You can't say what you are building" he's talking about the person trying to replicate the build. @@m.h.6470 you are watching the builder, offcourse you hear what he says. He just not allowed to ask anything or tell the information to the middle guy. That will be much funnier, without that, if something is weird he can check (and Scrapman does this in this video)

Multiplayer monday idea: Hydroplane race. I know scrapman knows what a hydroplane is because he did a video on it ( it is a boat that lifts itself out of the water with a ramp like bottom.)
@Darke_Exelbirth2 жыл бұрын
challenge idea, inspired by my favorite food channel: Pass it on. Concept: complete a build in a time limit. Catch: You only have X amount of time to build, and then the next person tries to continue where you were forced to stop. But the thing is, you don't get to communicate what you were going for to the next person. After everyone has had a turn building, the original builder passes judgement on how close the final build was to the original idea. Example: kAN starts out building a car. After 5 minutes, the alarm goes off, and Scrapman takes over the build. Scrapman sees a vehicle shape, and decides it must be a tank, and starts going down that route. 5 minutes later Moonbo steps in, and continues building the now obvious tank. After 5 more minutes, kAN comes back to find his creation is now a tank instead of a car, and judges accordingly.

Multiplayer Monday Idea: Do a best of challenge where yoy revisit five old challenges and attempt to do them again but better. For example your log dropping video. I'd like to see that again. Perhaps have a short delay between each saw blade so they dont all fall at once. Each cut is slightly delayed after so no collisions happen and you rain down

That was fun to watch. I got an Idea that is inspired of the Folding Paper Drawing Game. Everyone is bulding a Front of a Vehicle. Then you just give the cross-section of the open end to the next person. Maybe on a plane. Then the next person have to build a middle part with like a Kabin or just a seat. The last can build the back and can then welt the three pieces together to show what Monstrosity you three have created. Keep up the good Work.
@theldraspneumonoultramicro4052 жыл бұрын
some minor changes to this idea i think would make it more interesting for us and way more frustrating for you :) 1. noone gest to peak on the others build, so no kAN coming over to have a look at your build when he is done on his side, makes the final reveal better. 2. only the guy on the "telephone" can speak, the builders can not say anything, confused over something? to bad! you have to rely entirely on the description given, no questions asked. it will all be entirely down to how well you guys can give instructions and how well you can understand and follow those instructions. and anothe ridea based of this one: 2 builders, one on the "phone" just like this, however, the difference is that both builders has to follow the instructions given by the phone guy, the builders can not talk and the phone guy is completely blind to what the builders are doing, even whatever they are done with the previous instruction or not, the phone guy dont have a actual finished build to go by but rather has to give instructions on how to build something from imagination.

Halfway through and I have got to say, this isn't how the game Telephone works :D Scrapman shouldn't be able to ask for clarification, he should listen to Moonbo and do what he thinks was meant. Moonbo also shouldn't be getting feedback to determine if Scrapman's build matches Kan's. I think the only thing that Scrapman should be able to say back to Moonbo is that he's ready for the next instruction, or to wait for a minute. All told, still a very entertaining video, I hope you revisit this challenge with a few more restrictions sometime in the future :)

I think this challenge would have been funnier and more inline with telephone if you could not respond with questions. Just take in what was being said and interpret as best you can. Maybe it should run in ring with an original creation that has been designed by their communities. Make it a simple small-ish creation that does not take too long to build. Then have the first person describe the item while the second person builds it, and then the second person describe what they built to the third person. Then see what pops out. Easy way to get three entertaining videos. The channel the video goes on would probably be the second person because they are the one doing the most per rotation. Easy split screen with what is being described and what's being built.
