when i first played the sims 3 when I was 12 i thought that gobiases description meant he was aesexual and just wanted to hand with his friends so i would give him 7 male roomates and gave them each a twin bed in his octagon room which in retrospect is probably way gayer than anything i would have been able to come up with if I understood he was supposed to be gay

I love the aspect of Sims 3 that people can feel attracted to the same gender and not just male and female! Very progressive, although I'd be even more delighted if one could use the genes of same-sex couples to "create" a child like you can in sims 4... In my legacy playthrough, I accidentaly made my very handsome vampire immortal with a perk. So I was looking forward to invent a story of a reckless casanova and leave his spawns all over the world but alas... he is into dudes. I still love my gay immortal vamp 😂

You're right he knows nobody his age he does'nt actually have friends, "prefers the company of his male friends" means he is thought to maybe be gay. Now what we know about Tobias Funke's sexuality: He is married to Lindsay but that was a PROTEST against LINDSAY'S PARENTS. I most likely never actually watched AD but from what I remember, Tobias has no shown parents. Possibly Tobias is a bit extranged to his parents and possible siblings. And Lindsay is played by high femme lesbian icon Portia de Rossi, so high femme lesbian she transnamed herself in Shakespeare Italian and there's really no cishet Shakespearean characters either. Well none that survive the play. So I assume Tobias x Lindsay is most likely a lavender marriage. It's at least coded as one. And Tobias seems to perhaps be oblivious. He tries to not sound gay but ends up sounding pedophilic. And he seems to be actracted to several women and used to have a son Murphy Brown with someone else before meeting Lindsay. In short: Tobias is campy biromantic asexual and oblivious, he has a preference for feminine and\or young\childish women but also likes non campy guys, he is extranged from his family and had a fling resulting in Murphy Brown. He then met Lindsay who is high femme lesbian and Tobias knows she is. And Lindsay knows Tobias' sexuality. They marry each other to protest and they have Maeby who is futch pansexual and genderqueer between two personalities (Maeby and Surely) - Then Gobias Koffi is propably the same "camp bi" or "disaster bi" more than a strictly, "camp gay" stereotype. His traits are literally the definition of disaster bi. Though you can be a camp disaster bi. Usually he ends up with Ayesha who is the butchest person ever. You'd think a camp person and an high femme person would have more in common. And if Gobias were a woman she'd be an high femme and the "butch role" (which in proper sunset valley is Erin Kennedy, Monika Morris and Ayesha Ansari) would now be Jack Bunch\Leighton Sekemoto\Iqbal Alvi\Marty Keaton\Beau Andrews. Gobias and Ayesha don't actually have much in common (except being very queer coded sims) but they propably understand each other. They might be nonbinary and actually I like butch x femme relationships. And if there's a butch to Gobias' femme it'd propably be a man his age so propably Iqbal Alvi I guess
