I started playing Apex about a year ago now, and hard stuck gold as well. Can hit plat if my friends carry me, but I'm clearly not keeping up there. Most of my play hours are inconsistent aim training and playing full party with friends -- no real grind or focus on improvement. This both reassures me and gives me hope that I can learn and be better. Thanks Moore. Huge.

Now if only I could figure out how to actually see enemy player models...lol. Kinda got spoiled from my last game giving enemy players red outlines.

You could always try and go for seer, his ability basically means that when you “zoom in” aka aim (even when your gun is holstered) it gives off a heart beating sound and the middle circle on your screen actually turns to orange when it spots an enemy Edit: the heart beat sound only happens when there is an enemy within his area of passive scan (also when you hit an enemy with your tactical ability it highlights them through walls and it shows their shield and hp bar)

According to apex tracker I was sitting at top 3 percent of players when I was Plat 1-2 last season. This season I'm Gold 3 and am at top 6.54 percent of players. 😂

I really dont think its that hard. I think people cant grasp that positioning and placement will rank you up faster than running your face at teams. People play it like a TDM and are just stuck spinning tires.

Plat is bronze 2.0, I have 5k hours on this game still hardstuck plat 9 seasons now, just goes to show how much genetics and skill ceilings will hold you back. My mechanics suck & they decline a short while after improving them that's why I'm not pred yet, I believe I should be a 6x pred player at this point if i was at the skill level I really should be at. I play 4-6 hours everyday I used to play 8-12 hours everyday, still garbage no idea why my aim is still this bad. I have 15k hours total on shooters my aim has always been garbage & loses me 95% of fights

@@jaredwadeee85 To get to plat, you just need okay aim and good placement. Plat and up it's much much harder imo, as everyone all knows how to play the game correctly, so you need to be better than the top 1% of one of the sweatiest players in one of the sweatiest games

@@GabbaLads not necessarily. If you see a tarp on the ground with a weapon on it, you’ll still have a weapon in your hands faster than you would opening a guaranteed bin. It moreso evens the playing field. Bin if there’s no tarp with a weapon, tarp if it has a weapon.

yo love the content , always love to see the grind and the hunger to improve I ain't a proffesional apex player but I play fps games for over a decade. I think you are on the right way to climb up ranks and become ever way better just think that u need a quicker decision making , and always seek for cover before u engage so in case u take a fight and u whiff which is happening for all of us sometimes u can still live and play it longer than swinging into open space and end up either landing your shots and shitting on them or dying realy fast which is something u can avoid , overall thanks for that video subscribed

How do you participate in scrims? I’ve been searching for ever what thing did you use?

Different communities around the apex scene will run regular scrims. We were personally using the EEC Scrims on their discord, but other communities like Team Inferno also run their own. Scrims ramp up around the time of Challenger Circuits too, so they become easier to find.

It’s a time sink for real. I think I hit plat once or maybe gold 1 75 pct but like, doing it solo is a lot of dropping and getting 50/50s and rinse and repeat until you get good games back to back. It’s also about having randoms that aren’t completely scared to take fights but don’t take ridiculously bad fights and listen to comms to bail on a fight when necessary and you absolutely won’t get those randoms every match.

@@Venomx-nb1jr Im pretty sure what most people who tend to be stuck in lower ranks get wrong is playing too aggressive and not focusing on getting an advantage before a fight. I solo queued to plat effortlessly pretty much in my first season of playing the game, and even if your team is dead theres always a way to gain rp, and I've won many games as a solo where I simply just thirded the last 2 other teams fighting.

@@orizian7917after playing this game for 14 (started s8) and mainly pub stomping all that time like highest rank I hat until last season was plat is s14 if you wanna play super aggressive in plat and lower you just gotta be confident in your gameplay like im a masters level player but I peek in diamond just because I dont have a team like play ranked with my 1 good friend maybe once a week and I went from silver 2 to diamond in a couple hours because me and him just roll through those lobbies but when you hit diamond + everything changes you gotta play smart like I can guarantee im better than 60% of the lobbie but after 14 seasons of pubs I dont have the positioning skills and struggle my gunplay and movement are crazy good like im always top of my team

Unfortunately the topic of our first coaching session didn't get to be shared as much as I hoped in the final cut, just because it would take too long. The consensus though from our aiming session was consistency in our training, using the right sens for your equipment, and having solid equipment to practice with. All helping you perform better. I've been doing this for a while and always try to improve. Growth stops when you think you always know best and don't test things or look for new evidence. While coaching Moore I went over the importance of cm360, dpi, sens, edpi and even how equipment factors into it all. I've done this for many other players and it has always been successful. But Moore put in the work and I'm proud of him.

Thank God I'm not the only one seeing these bullshit teammates you get in plat. Don't get me wrong, yesterday I had a game we all got 2k damage, 8 kills 13 assists 25 kills team total. I was finally on that team that could just run through a lobby. But most my games, I swear to God they are the level of silver yet somehow they are plat. There is a literal drop in quality of teammates in plat compared to gold. Solo Q be hard sometimes.
