I believe they will limit a few releases like the Bred 1’s and couple others. Jordan 5 Black metallic seems to have quite a few early pairs on the streets already. I talked to my local retail managers and all said they got in their 5’s and usual sizes runs. Flu Games are expected to be the usual amount as well. So at least for those two releases they aren’t limited in my area

Yeah, Jordans have only been sitting a lot for just about a year and a half. Before then that hasn't been the case. Now what they might do is put out a limit amount at the launch of the shoes, see how fast those sell, and then restock if the demand is still high.

Nike said less production on earnings call because of economy. Less pairs but less people that can afford to buy because of inflation. So prolly be the same maybe easier for some just like BC3s.

Nike can limit all they want, I’ll just move on. I got a closet full of Jordan’s that will last me my lifetime. I’m grown man, I don’t play this baby BS. Either you want my money or you don’t. My focus can easily move to NB, vans, dr martins, merrells, eś…ect. You can only want something you can’t have for so long before it’s time to move on. I spent about $1000 last year on retail and Nike left at least another $800 on the table because of “exclusivity” with just me alone. I know it’s small potatoes to Nike, but I’m sure most other brands would be appreciative of a yearly customer willing to spend that kind of money. Just keep selling to the rich and famous and well connected Nike, you’ll be fine!

I don't think sneakers sitting is bad for Nike per se. I mean if they can move the product to retailers, that's money up front for them. If sneakers sit that may discourage retailers from investing in product but trying to combat that by producing fake scarcity I think they are just going to end up shooting themselves in the foot. I honestly believe that is how Nike started losing customers to brands like NB, Saucony, On, Adidas, and Asicics. Gens Alpha and Z decided they were going to explore other options as copping retros was too difficult an endeavor in the late 2010s and millennials and Gen X got tired of having our hopes dashed every Saturday morning bots devoured stock for resellers. If Nike is unable to take my money by creating a method/environment for me to fairly purchase their products then there are legit TONS of other things out there I can buy that will have more utility for my day to day life other than my 20th pair of black, red, (and maybe gray) shoes lol. For example if I miss these Bred 85 Highs there's a $300, readily available meta quest 3s with my name on it lol

Buying a ua pair is no different than buying from a reseller. There basically resellers themselves cause it cost 20$ to make but charge damn near retail for a fake pair. People don’t understand this shoe is what started everything. This probably wouldn’t be a thing if without that shoe so why would Nike mass produce a shoe they broke down to make as close as possible. If they did the QC issues would take away the 1 for 1 thing. I think people didn't respect last year for what it was a great year for copping shoes u wanted whether they were hype or not.
