The main reason the BC3s didn’t sell as well as JB wanted was because of the QC issues imo. Nike needs to make the shoes better and give people value for their money and the shoes will sell, instead of up-charging for poor quality shoes.

I agree on Nike’s strategy to limit stock - but it only works if you stop the backdooring and botting. The fact that the 85s are going to the most prolific and proven backdoorers in the industry says a lot. This could fail as hard as the D2C strategy, giving NB, ASICS, On etc or the increasing hyped Puma the next door to growth.

My collection went from nike/jordan and a few adidas to adding Puma, NB, Asics and Saucony. I'm glad Nike opened the door for other brands, now my collection is diverse.

Nike is a business. Not driven by morality but demand. E.g Kyrie, tom sachs. Multiple releases with limited numbers will allow them to capture the consumer who doesnt give a shit about price. Nike is doing the limited thing all wrong. Those trashy GR'S, you make less of them so they sell out. The hyped up shoes you make extra because that's what everyone wants. By doing that, people will think the shoe is limited when it's not. Because for most of us, if we can't get the hyped up Nikes/jordan, I'll just buy other brands that got fire collabs and models. The sale prove it with New Balance out selling Jordan's last year. So if Nike/Jordan are gonna make hard to buy shoes i have no iusse spending money with brands that want it.
