I always say canva deserves more recognition. So far I ve designed an entire board game and a digital video game using it. Plus numerous presentations, business cards and the list goes on. I think I will try video editing soon.
@mfmfangirl2 жыл бұрын
Hi, do you have any tutorial or guide that you referred to while making a digital video game using Canva? I have to make one for university in my next semester.
@theodora242 жыл бұрын
@@mfmfangirl well that is a totally complicated issue. I am doing my master on this field. Mostly I did a lot of research using #digitalvideogame principles read many theories about the MDA framework combined with principles applied usually on web design and many others as well. I surely didn't follow any tutorial for the part of the aesthetic arrangements. But since my game is for preschoolers I tired to keep it simple and vivid. It is critical to set the entire tone, vibe etc according to the mechanics and the aesthetics of the game depending on the ages that you are addressing to. Please note that I didn't include any motion to the game. Mostly because I couldn't deliver any motion graphics programmatically wise. But if a concept is good i think that motion can be absent and to still have a fun game in your plate. It's all relative and it depends on what kind of game you are interested to make. I should also mention that I used scratch to program it. Hope you find it helpful. Let me know if you need more info. Cheers!

Video editing on canva is so fun and really easy considering I started with premiere Pro. The thing is that. It's a fact. One can get what output he wants from a software which isn't even made for that kind of output, if the person is creative. I have a lyric video on my profile with "Sunno" name. I made that using Videoscribe software. That software is used for tutorial type of videos on YT and not for lyric videos. but I utilised the working of that software for my needs as I didn't know how to use adobe back then. What he showed is truth. That's how it works.

Reverse poop is.. well.. poop. So I don't think you sound what you mean lol
@AndreSjoberg2 жыл бұрын
@@SafaOrhan A reverse poop, figuratively speaking, would go from end result (poop) to starting point (what you ate originally) - the phrase is used as a visual description of the reverse process, not to be taken litterally, since that would be just silly - also, I could have written «almost like taking a reverse poop» or just «reverse pooping» but since this is a comment field, and long definitions of things and concepts is not really well suited, the expression «reverse poop», as in «a poop, in reverse» or «taking a poop, in reverse», was used, to shorten things down to the bare essentials. Also, why you would focus on this tiny part of a comment, rather than the intention of praise for Daniels work the comment is intended as, is beyond my imagination, but to make it clear to you dear sir, let it be know to all the users of the internets that might be reading this in the future: the intent of the original comment was to compare the work of daniel schiffer to the result of a reversed pooping procedure, going from crap to beauty.

Ok so here's the CANVA REVIEW for any of the pros considering it: I've been using Canva Pro as my go to design tool for 90% of my projects over the past 3 years. It's great, and that's the bottom line. It's highly efficient and can save you so much time you never thought you could save over simple designs. Ok, so let me just tell you what you CAN'T DO. Canva can help you get a design out in minutes, but what really irks me, is the freedom for creativity. It's the small tools that you tend to really miss out on that can make a huge impact on your design as a PRO. Lets say you need to edit an image besides just the colors, well you need to do this outside the app. In the above video you'll notice that you can make a pretty good video with great effects but as far as color grading goes, you need a professional tool to do that. Text animation/object can also be very troublesome when you have multiple elements, as you can't keyframe. Changing colors for canva elements in designs can be limiting sometimes, and over time it may cause you to become less creative. Anyway, I think it's a great tool! And definitely one that you should learn to master.

Wow that turned out really good for such a simple online editor. Also great job yourself, Daniel, with your creative edits. Tools like this look like they would be good for small business owners who have time but not a lot of money. Canva has a lot of other great stuff to simplify making logos and all that, so they are a pretty good product suite for branding your own small business without shoveling a lot of money out to professionals at every turn.

The creative process is a powerful tool in itself, and they all look different for different designers. This is why I tell people don't worry about having the most expensive program if you want to start right now, you can make it work and you'll only get better the more consistent you show up & work with it. I'm very partial to adobe products since I've started using them in 2008, but I have to say I continue to be wowed by Canva and I always suggest them as an alternative. :)
