You do a lot of dark and moody shoots, would love to see you tackle more light and airy stuff. Dark and moody is my personal preference but all of my clients think brighter is the only way to go.

Yeah I heard/read somewhere bright and colorful pics on instagram usually gets more click. Probably the same with a lot of ads since ads often want to evoke some kind of feeling of happiness in the viewer I guess

Not even close to a million dollars and the thing that makes his videos so great isn't the gear. Creativity comes from limitations. If you gave Daniel a cell phone, a product, and a time limit, he would still make something captivating. Learning how to work with what you have is what makes you better. I'm only responding to this comment because I hope to change your perspective as it's only going to hurt you in the long run. When you attribute someone's success to the gear they have then you're trapping yourself in that 'stuck' mindset and it's very difficult to get out.
