You do a lot of dark and moody shoots, would love to see you tackle more light and airy stuff. Dark and moody is my personal preference but all of my clients think brighter is the only way to go.

Yeah I heard/read somewhere bright and colorful pics on instagram usually gets more click. Probably the same with a lot of ads since ads often want to evoke some kind of feeling of happiness in the viewer I guess

Not even close to a million dollars and the thing that makes his videos so great isn't the gear. Creativity comes from limitations. If you gave Daniel a cell phone, a product, and a time limit, he would still make something captivating. Learning how to work with what you have is what makes you better. I'm only responding to this comment because I hope to change your perspective as it's only going to hurt you in the long run. When you attribute someone's success to the gear they have then you're trapping yourself in that 'stuck' mindset and it's very difficult to get out. I hope for your sake that you take what I say to heart and I hope that anyone else who reads and relates to your comment does as well. Let's be better!

Another cool video ! I'm a beginner in the ad vids... All I want to tell you that your videos/ tips have been so helpful! Picked up a camera and couple of other things on the budget few months ago. Now I'm creating short ads for a little gift company! The pay is not great but it allows me to experiment and also learn how to work with people that have no idea what am I doing etc. Had my moments when I was more creative and got turned down maybe 5 times but now we are working better and it's boring but hey I am consistent in videos ! Thanks again you're inspiring a lot of people!

seeing you do this in your dining room/kitchen and you saying: "I'm trying to become a pro" is a HUGE inspiration for me to get started into Product Photography/Videography for brands. I Don't have The greatest camera setup; a canon t6i with an 18-55mm and a 50mm lens, a couple 20x28 softboxes with E27 5500K 85W 110V CFL bulb's, nothing fancy by any means, but I would love to see a video from you about how someone like me with very minimal gear could get started into doing product photography/videography, the steps to go through with finding brands to work with, what camera settings you should use for slow motion shots, suggested gear to invest in to get started, maybe even some suggestions of editing software to use for people who cant necessarily afford adobe or sony software. I love all the content you put out, cant wait to see what's next, keep up the awesome work!
