As a Scubadiver, I've seen how aggressive they are. You are doing it right. They will go after the bait time and time again.Great Video's.ONE OF THE BEST I watch every time you post them...

Gotta love it! I've done that with bluegill before, where they spit the hook and then they come right back, but not with flounder. Crazy

For real! They are aggressive fish
@muskymadness97726 ай бұрын
I've had that happen with muskies in the past where they hit and you don't get a good hookset and they follow into the figure 8 and eat boatside

Only once in a ton of flounder fishing have I had that happen. It was from a boat but only in about 3' of water. Surprisingly I have not attempted to make it happen again, BUT after watching you, I will.
@CaptCollier6 ай бұрын
You definitely should! I’ve had it happen several times in the boat, I just thought this was crazy with them doing it while I was standing in the water literally in front of them lol

Surf fishing at Grand Isle, Louisiana, I was surrounded by a school of speckled trout, and all i had to do was just drop the dual speck rig in the water and catch two at a time. Had to be careful taking the fish off the hook; if I dropped the empty jig in the water while taking off the fish on the other hook, a fish would come up and take it! I also want to add that earlier that same morning, before the fish moved in, I was getting started in water about mid-thigh deep. I saw something kick, and my eyes focused on the biggest white shrimp I've ever seen! It might have been about 10" long and a 2" thick body at the head... It was floating on the surface, thought it looked me over, and in another kick it was gone... That's likely why the trout moved in...! God bless ALL of us! WWG1WGA

Dude I think it's those coffee scented baits youre throwing. I thought they looked pretty good but im def thinking its the scent attracting them
@jimmyfumbanks60816 ай бұрын
I carried some onions in my reefer the other day and the trailer had a bad onion smell . The net said put coffe on the floor . It soaked out the onion scent out of the trailer , maybe its a cover scent.

Awesome video Capt Collier! Ask Tanner about the puffer fish in April when we were fishing! It bit his lure in half and I started throwing a hard bait. I caught the puffer fish and it spit his lure out.

Dont understand people who want to be a pain and fish next to you. Find another place . Have a plan B and stay away from me . I came out to fish to get away from people like you , although its getting harder and harder 😮 .
@jimmyfumbanks60816 ай бұрын
Best thing to do when a boat of buddies sees you catch a fish and moves in on you. They always ask what are you using. You have to hollar back . Say Your Sister. They usually keep going .
