Child of a vegan here, abit of an advance warning for the cheese, it does NOT taste like actual cathedral city and there’s some sort of after taste that comes with it (that is if they haven’t changed the recipe since I last had it)

tell me about it! the aftertaste of vegan food sometimes is awful. we tend to go for the lactofree brand from tesco/asda and most of their stuff doesn’t seem to have such a shitty aftertaste and especially if it’s mixed in with something else you wouldn’t know any different

Ha, this was entertaining as I’ve tried a lot of these this year! I’ve been vegetarian for 10 years and now trying to be vegan since January. I love the Love Raw bars - happy hippos used to be my favourite as a child so that makes sense. Think you underrated the Buttermilk Caramel Nougat bar! Although anything chocolate I tend to have with a big mug of sweetened black coffee alongside. Normal bourbon cream biscuits are usually accidentally vegan anyway and the free from section can sometimes be gluten free but not vegan, which is annoying as I’m fine with gluten just not animal products!

No they’re not sadly, they contain butterfat (which is from milk). Bendick’s after dinner chocolate mints are mostly vegan though if you want a cheaper alternative than the Nono ones :)
