This was great Ric! One of your best videos; filled with interesting new insights to help us think outside the box. I love how you give us content that is very original, not only the standards, like a description of the puzzle and how one goes about the sorting. When I first heard about KZbin puzzlers I was sceptic. What more goes into it? You open the box, take a look at the bits and put them together. There are puzzle hauls, those can be fun sometimes, and there is also the story behind the image, and the passion the video maker has for this hobby, all of that’s great of course, but after ten videos in a row with the same format, things begin to get stale. Gotta shake it up. Congrats! // Tess

Hi Tess, oh thanks for enjoying this! I appreciate very much that you can see what im trying to do here, i was a little reserved initially about bringing different things to the table because it is a gamble - it can work or it can be a total failure, but after seeing as you pointed out, not much happening in terms of content , same video over and over, often without any context, or goal, with very few exceptions, i thought i could bring the viewer for a journey with me. As im not an expert or a professional puzzler i enjoy sharing my thought processes and how i see the puzzles in my head. Happy to know someone out there likes what i put out there! Often i go around in circles too because i don’t script anything which is probably not a good idea 😂 again thanks for enjoying the video and my take on puzzles!

@@RicPuzzles I’ve never done any kind of video but I’d guess that it all depends on the subject, whether you need a script of not. Perhaps a list of bullet points is enough, I don’t know. It looks that you are already doing the last. Keep up the good work 🙂 🧩🧩🧩

Hi Ric, 🤩oh my giddy aunt that was amazing 👀🤩. I think this is going to be more important for puzzle brands to adopt. Ric, we’ve seen adverts which show 3D virtual puzzles. It’s a great new, modern platform for this hobby. All for it. Many thanks for showing this. You have a knack for introducing concepts like AI now 3D, good stuff mate. Till the next one👍. Mark+Chris

Hi Mark and Chris! thank you for the great input on this one! indeed, I feel like, even though it will never replace puzzles per se, it is a growing market at the moment and it will only get bigger! glad to know you are happy to see something like this! thanks again for the great input today!

Hi Ric, my cousin has this game on Oculus Quest 2 and we played with it over the last few weeks, we were in awe with it and also purchased the different packages, so worth it! Most are £3.99 though, for us, loving the Buildings and churches from around the world - i highly recommend this game. Thank you for giving a detailed review. Lovely seeing you solve different puzzles.

Looks cool Ric. I am more of tactile person. That being the reason this would not be something I would love. Maybe I will try it one day. I also love board games because I love to touch the different components just like jigsaw puzzle pieces.

Hi Laura! What a great surprise to see you here today! Yes i get you, nothing like being able to physically touch the puzzle pieces eh! But at least we know now that things like this exist 😅 thank you for checking it out and leaving your feedback!!

This looks so cool! So well made with all the details. I love video games, I am more a Nintendo fan myself, I mostly play Zelda and Animal Crossing, since the Super Nintendo days. 😊 But my boyfriend has a Playstation, I think he has that headthing you are wearing for a flight simulation game but I am not sure he has the hand sensor thingies, if he does I'll check this game out for sure! It looks like fun! 😃

Hello Nina! wow what a great surprise to know that more of us here also enjoy other games too! one of my good friends is also into Zelda games - Ive never tried it, but love playstation adventure games too! absolutely Nina if you can have a chance, give it a try! it is really cool! the version for apple glasses, announced by apple last week, all the pieces are part of the environment we're in, it's like having the pieces floating in your living room, it's some next level stuff yet!!!

Did you get to try it? I think Puzzling Places is wonderful as well.
@RicPuzzles3 ай бұрын
@@brisdaz hi there! You mean Zelda? Not yet maybe one of these days!! Now puzzling places is amazing. I will upgrade my vr glasses soon to be able to play in 4k, how about yourself? Do you play it too?
@NinaW1n3 ай бұрын
@brisdaz Oh sorry I did read your reaction but totally forgot to reply. No I havent tried it yet, turns out I do not have the hand sensors here at home, so if I come across them for cheap or if there are more games we will use them for, or if I can lend them from someone, I will try it out! So it is on my 'to try' list but to be honest it doesnt have a high priority, so it might take a while. 😉 It sounds and looks like a fun game! 😃

@NinaW1n thats ok Nina! Im guilty of not following up with replies too, sometimes they never show up in my updates here until weeks later 😂 thats cool, if you have a ps4 you can get those sensors very very cheap like 30 bucks 🤭 and if you have the ps5 it can go up to a few hundred..i am going to get the new vr as they are selling really cheap here in nz at the moment second hand, apparently the vr puzzle is in 4K with the new glasses, imagine!!!!

This is going to sound a bit silly, but i do puzzles for relaxation and to help take me out of my everyday thoughts, and watching this way of doing puzzles makes me think I would find it messy and irritating, lol.
@RicPuzzles3 ай бұрын
oh fair enough, it really is something to at least try, I was very skeptical too, but it turned out to be far more enjoyable than I imagined. Im going to upgrade my VR grasses to play this game in pristine 4K, but I get you, it really isn't for everyone! Thanks for commenting!

That looks like a lot of fun. I'd love to try it but, for me, it would mean an expense of at least $1000 Can so I'll pass for now. I used to be into video games but I kind of got bored and moved on. I might get back into it next winter and play some old classics on my early 2000 consoles if I run out of regular puzzles. 🙂
@RicPuzzles4 ай бұрын
Hi Fellow puzzler! Oh thanks for checking this out! I completely understand about the expense, this particular set is now very very cheap, i got mine for 199 or roughly USD150, as they are now considered obsolete (but still completely current for ps4) the new fancy set for ps5 is around 400 usd now. 😅😅 but thanks for at least thinking about it! Same here about games! I have so many but got tired somehow. The only game i play from time to time nowadays is tom clamsy’s the division 😁 i played all of the assassins creeds over the years but nowadays i find them so boring. Hey what is your favourite old game?
@fellowpuzzler4 ай бұрын
@@RicPuzzles Hey Ric. I got into gaming in the late 90s. I loved playing the Myst series for the clever puzzles and was also into the The Sims. Then I got my first consoles (PS1 and N64) and started playing all kinds of games; driving games with the Gran Turismo series, platformers with Mario and many others, action adventure games such as Metal Gear Solid, RPGs such as the Final Fantasy series. One of my favorite genre was survival horror games such as Resident Evil and Silent Hill. I guess I enjoy solving puzzles in a spooky environment 😉. My all time favorites would have to be Chrono Cross (RPG on PS1) for the story and the amazing music soundtrack and Silent Hill 1 & 2 for the spine-chilling atmosphere and the interesting puzzles that had to be solved to move the story forward.

Oh my, what a great taste you have for games, Fellow Puzzler! Some of the titles you mentioned have been part of my upbringing too being an 80s kid myself. I remember many of these vividly. - what a nostalgic feeling in a good way!! Wow thanks for sharing your game list!
