The things about hidden stories is they give more context for what happened in the normal main story it's kinda confusing at some point hidden stories will stop happening and everything will be included in the base chapter oh also the chapters in the side story tab like extra story and floating record are good to do as they help give context to the main story if you didn't already know. Pgr is very weird with how they place the story

Watanabe is basically a war veteran that suffered ptsd during the war eg. his comrade getting eaten alive via cannibalism due to the lack of food source (if I remember correctly, but I'm pretty sure there's more to it than that). That being said, he's definitely my favourite character because of his caring, protective and compassionate nature, especially towards his comrade in Forsaken and Babylonia. In one of his affection story/dialogue, "if someone mention the word daughter, the only one that comes to my mind is Liv" I guess that's why he's everyone favourite uncle!

@@barbarossa8700 Calcharo is a leader of a massive mercenary organisation that secretly keeps peace outside the formal government (Magistrate, Jinzhou, Midnight Ranger), but it isn't in the story (yet?), just on his info and whatnot for now. so, yes, his role is pretty important.

Absolutely love Watanabe he is such a great character lore wise and his new S rank version is so fun to play so some basics on Watanabe which is kinda a spoiler but Watanabe is the leader of the forsaken which is a faction of people on earth that aren't exactly buddy buddy with Babylonia due to reasons which will get explained in the story

I think you should watch some videos on how to use character kits since there is a right combo for each single character and some mechanics are just better off not being used.

fyi the new watanabe right now is the first gen3 unit with the highest shred damage as a tank and out damage hyperreal lee gen2 as an attacker at equal investment. it makes watanabe a good rotation for the fire team and future luna oblivion team with the nihil element in short you can use watanabe in two different team elements as a tank. how cool is that!!!!!
