I am pyrophobic (fear of fires) meaning I can’t sit comfortably around small campfires, never can participate in bomb fires, everytime a smoke alarm goes off even on TV, my heart sinks and I feel like I’m gonna throw up and pass out. Every small “fire hazzard” becomes HUGE and everything is triple checked. I’m afraid to light candles or have any other type of fire or even electric heat (like a wax warmer, heat pad, or extra portable heaters, ect). When I was 13 my house burned down, and we lost my personal dog I had since I was 6, I ran through a burning hallway, burning my feet with 3rd degree burns (I’m lucky it wasn’t worse). Every single day the smallest thing is a struggle, even cooking gives me anxiety at times. Thank you for bringing light to phobias a lot of people laugh at and call ridiculous Lauren, you are truly doing gods work🤍

As someone who is a type 1 Diabatic that scene really hits home to me, it shows that we cant control when we have high or low blood sugers and for anyone who is wondering roy is having a High blood sugar and so eating jam is not what you need for this situation and what you need instead is Insulin. And he said it perfectly "Well let me tell my pancreas to smartenup and start working" it shows you that we do have some control over these situations but not always and that means even in dire situations. It’s a less dark but I recommend A Juggler’s Tale, it’s about a girl in the circus and one day runs away while the narrator tries to persuade her to go back. There’s a certain level of puzzle to it as you have to figure out how to get around obstacles as she has puppet strings.

this game feels very 3 dimensional and I really love that. Like at 1:22:51 Bruce says that water is coming in and flooding engineering, which is very weird since oil rigs are hundreds of meters above the water. That means the whole rig is sinking. And why is it sinking? Because this ancient alien thing that's bee under the ocean is climbing on top of the rig and all of the negative space it leaves behind gets filled with water and sand which causes the rig to sink because it's built on top of that. Also the more and more time passes the rig gets more and more destroyed and more of the creature gets on top of the rig as it is sinking further down, and we get to see that first hand by going back and forth through these areas over and over again the whole game. Like that's just SO COOL. also I really think the creators took MASSIVE inspiration from the Dead space franchise which is also really cool. This creature, while it can mutate the people like Dead space's markers, and can make you go insane by just being near it, it doesn't seem to have a mind of it's own. It's just going off of primal instincts UNLIKE Dead space markers which do the same thing but they have minds. The thing in this game also doesn't destroy the minds of the mutated people. Like they can still recognize people and mostly make coherent sentences and thoughts. While in Dead space the mutants are completely mindless zombies.

woooo great job Emily, thank you for your hard work! my list of fears from this game 16:33 bathmophobia-fear of stairs. but specifically ones with gaps/no risers, I shake like a chihuahua if I have to climb them. 17:18 trypophobia- an aversion to or fear of patterns of holes or similar patterns. although this didn’t really trigger me it might for others. I usually genuinely scream and or cry when I am triggered 🙃 23:48 basophobia- fear of falling. every edge made me nervous side note why were they taking their sweet time saving raffs lmao man is full on fighting demons in that thing! When you went inside and everything was dark at time stamp 26:48. Climbing down ladders, walking over grated floors and walking down dark narrow passageways. It reminded me of the time I explored the USS NC battle ship at night on a ghost investigation with nothing but a flashlight in order to see. Gave me chills.
