Itto belongs on there. He's annoying, and Hoyoverse keeps cramming him in our faces with events, so we're constantly reminded he's annoying. Personally, not shocked about Qiqi in the slightest. Thing is, this is people voting for most disliked, and a character being not very useful or being a meme for ruining 50/50s isn't enough for that. Plus her being seen as meh means getting her and not using her is just a fact of life, no real disappointment. Personality, though, will apply heavily. And Qiqi isn't bad off in that regard at all. She might make a lot of top 5 "least favorite" lists, but she won't be in first place.

Being a dori and Mika fan is quite hard in this community. I love Dori and Mika too! I never understood the hate towards them. Now I don't want to try changing anyone's opinions, but this is just the way I see it. The general consensus is: The reason why people hate Dori might be from the controversy that she was in back when she released/drip marketed, maybe she's annoying to some, but I think the main reason is because of Kaveh. Essentially, Kaveh is in debt from the Palace of Alcazarzaray because of Dori and it doesn't make sense considering her backstory. But to that I say, BULLSHIT! Her backstory goes that Dori was from a not very fortunate family, and she once had a sister who she was really best friends with, but one day that sister got really sick and the treatment needed to cure her required millions of mora. But in order not to make her younger sister worry, Dori's sister pretended like everything was fine whenever Dori visited. But Dori saw through this, and eventually ended up vowing to make sure that her family will never have to suffer like that ever again. Thus, she became the Lord Sangemah Bay we all know today. Back to why people hate her, now with the knowledge of her story, they say that she has no right to keep Kaveh in her debt and she should instead empathize with him since she went through a similar situation herself before. But in her defense, she's a child lol (or atleast generally just not an adult and immature). Now what I mean by that is maybe, just maybe, if an impressionable and immature child were to go through such an experience, and then end up becoming the very thing that caused it, would that child know? Hell to the no. Now while this is only a theory of mine, but I think the only reason why Dori is the way she is is because of her trauma. She just needs therapy. Now for Mika...to be honest, I don't know. He is literally just there. There's nothing to hate about him. But people do regardless. And I don't know what you've seen, but the general idea of what I've seen is that they don't like his design, his irrelevance to the story (which, I think is a load of bullshit), his voice and his personality. He did nothing wrong. It's just the collective community opinion. You would think especially after Waterborne Poetry that some's opinions would atleast be changed. Guess not. Though if any of you saw anyone having a specific reason why they hate Mika, what is it? Thank you for reading the culmination of my pent up frustration over other people's opinions that I don't have any right to whatsoever but still get pissed off about nonetheless. Please don't take this the wrong way, you can like who you like and vice versa, but I was just leaving my thoughts on the matter. I have no intentions of stirring up unnecessary internet drama whatsoever. Rahhh, I love Wanderer so much too(favorite character in all media and beyond, wil cherish him like my son) but I think the hate for these characters may stem from their personalities/actions for some(Scara, Dori, Childe??), mischaracterizatuon for others(like- all of them), and just in general ig,(prob lots of other good reasons). But its ok, we can all love and hate whatever characters we want, as long as we remain civil, then its all just fun and games and preferences :D (i feel so hypocritical saying this cuz I had to do a double take when I saw Wanderer on the list, wjndkwnwks)

@@oceanoqraphy No, everyone has a reason to be hated. As you literally said "not everyone's favorite kind of personality" that can apply to Mika too, so why did you exclude him? Even characters like Nahida can be easily hated, it's up to personal preferences, design, experiences with said characters, etc. Diluc for example doesn't really make sense because he's used more than Qiqi, and Qiqi became a meme for a reason (because nobody wanted her and it was the worst 5 star you could get, at least in the opinion of the majority), so why would a character that's used more overall, and has no memes of him when people lose their 50/50s to him, be more hated?

@@spookyclaws5350 I was excluding him because unlike the others who have a very consistent and widely agreed upon reason for their hatred, Mika is more varying with the reasons and most stem from preference over his appearance and voice which while valid are completely different for the big reasons the others listed are mostly hated (of course appearance also can attribute to them as well but reasons like being annoying or being evil are usually stated more).

A character is bound to have flaws, and Kaveh is no exception, and don't get me wrong either, Dori has hers too. One of which, is prominently emphasized in various character voicelines across the Sumeru cast, and it's regarding Kaveh's tendencies to put his own life in jeopardy for the sake of others. ...And that's not even the point. Kaveh is in debt, hardly even because of that tendency. In the description for the Palace of Alcazarzaray, it states that the project had given Kaveh near complete creative freedom over the palace, with Dori only stating that it should be "large and extravagant," so Kaveh committed himself completely to it. However, near the completion of the project, The Withering had expanded in the night (also causing problems for the Forest Rangers might I add), completely destroying the worksite. *Dori did not want to continue the project,* but Kaveh had already invested too much into the project. After much contemplation, *he* decided to take out a loan with Dori, and the palace was rebuilt, leaving Kaveh in massive debt. If you still dislike Dori, that's completely ok. But let it be for a real reason, not for one twisted due to collective community opinion. Even if not, atleast now you know.

I guess you could make the argument that Dori was deliberately doing it for Layla to feel pressured enough until she finally cracked, but...that's what you do as a merchant, no?

Imo Dori is very underrated. With cons she gets even better and I have lots of fun using her. From my understanding people hate Dori bec she caused kavehs debt. But that’s not entirely true, part of kavehs character flaw is that he puts himself in jeopardy for the sake of others. Alhaitham quite literally says this as well. But back to Dori, her being money hungry iirc is because she had to see loved ones pass because they couldn’t afford healthcare. And last we saw her she’s getting some karmic justice w all the money she was forced to spend.
